I can really only write about the food I enjoyed at a function I attended at Hotel Styne. Our food was tasty, well presented and served at an appropriate temperature. Staff were professional and friendly and our needs were well catered for. I noticed several semi private areas were available to accommodate large groups.

Downstairs area has a fabulous view. Very noisy place. We found bar staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful both times we went there. We had pizza, chicken wings and chips for dinner. Food was well flavored and quick.

This hotel is in a perfect location with great facilities unfortunately the room really let it down. I stayed in room 6 for 12 days. The room smelt of dampness the window looked on to the kitchen done. Each morning at 7am you got wakened up by the rolling of kegs I assume under the room. I was given clean...

The location is spectacular and can easily be taken in while you enjoy a drink and/or a meal. The picture windows offer a fabulous view of the passing parade of the earth's most fascinating creature: humankind. The pub offers a range of 'craft' beers that borders on the spectacular but also offers some of the more standard brews. Then there...

This must have been the worst experience ever. The people in the reception were never available and it smelled like pee in our room. Seems like no one had cleaned it, ever. The wi-fi sucked aswell. We're used to 1-2 stars hotel, but wow - this topped it all. Can't even believe they let people stay here.

It may have been around for many years, but for the price its great. Beds are very comfortable, clean towels each day. Yes, shared toilet and showers, but always clean. Food excellent, Coffees Great, Booze plentiful. Noise noisy, music and talk, but it put me to sleep each night, a few screechy girls at lock out but luckily not for...

Went for a few drinks and found it to be very expensive and not all that inviting. It was really hot inside and could do with some fresh air or better air conditioning. Didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food. Staff were lovely.

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
