Without doubt one of the best in Manly area. I booking for one mounths and sure I can suggest. Everything is so close: beaches, cafe and restaurants. The buses are almost on the front door and you dont need the car. Congratulation to the owner

I stayed at this guesthouse for about 3-4 months and it is the best pick in Manly if you're looking for budget accommodation. Weekly rates for singles and doubles are very affordable and you get a quiet place to stay not far from the beach and within walking distance of the Corso and ferry terminal to the CBD. I've stayed...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for about a week and we were really looking forward to it as the reviews and stuff were good. We arrived and sorted the payment out and went to our room which was a double and reasonable size. The bedding was laid out and we had to make the bed which is alright however...

As my friends stayed in the Manly Astra, all they said afterwards was : " How could you suggest this hostel." On the one hand, the Manager was never available ( so it was hard for them to pay the bill right away, they tried many times). That might not be too bad as the hotel rooms really have all...

Jasmina B never stayed at this hostel but had 3 friends stay. The first in a single room for 2 weeks, the second a double room for almost 2 weeks.Surely if Jasmina was upset with this hostel she wouldn't have booked rooms for her friends for such amounts of time. Jasmina was quite rude and expected 5 star hotel service for...

We were in room 15, for around 4 and half months. We very much felt settled and like we were at home. Marc the manager was a great help, with anything we needed! The restaurants and nightlife was very good, and MEX n CO became our restrauant to go to! Being very close to the beach was such a great...

This place has a totally relaxed and fun environment. My time spent was so positive! The people were friendly and engaging, the space was well-kept, and the location is a great reflection of all the beauty of Australia!

Stayed here for 6 weeks with my girlfriend, we had a massive room with window for a very good price. Nearly all the rooms are doubles, and few singles so its not a hostel full of dorms and idiots, its mostly couples. Kitchen is good, no oven, but 8 burners and cupboard/fridge/freezer space for each room, kitchen and outdoor courtyard...

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
