I cant express the thanks I have for the Owner and staff members lending an ear to my near not arrival for personal reasons. But I did make my arrival but was later than expected, arrangements were made for me. I would highly recommend Manly Bunkhouse price was excellent, close to the beach and ferries, quiet yet busy with backpackers...

I had a lovely time staying at Manly Bunkhouse! The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my arrival and departure schedule, and the people staying there were extremely kind and welcoming. It's like a big family there. Kitchen may not be stellar looking or as clean as you'd like, but everything works. I stayed in 2 different mixed rooms,...

We did have a private room rather than stay in a dorm but still the experience was stress free. The staff are really friendly and helpful, we stayed over 2 weeks in the end albeit we moved rooms 3 times to allow for this. The communal kitchen is small but people just get on with it and it seems to...

Manly Bunkhouse will definitely be the place to be on my next visit. The staff were great and very helpful. The location was perfect. Well suited if you want peace and quiet. Also well suited because shops and bars are just five minutes away. And if you wanted to get some air, Manly beach is just 3 minutes walk from...

We had a room with private bathroom. Clean and quiet. Comfy bed. A short a walk into Manly. Parking at the front. Nothing fancy but adequate. A hotel in this area would be double the price. We will stay again.

I stayed in a shared room with 3 others while visiting family, very clean room and bathroom with lockers provided for valuables. Good kitchen and cooking facilities with a dining table, along with a common room with a smart tv. Decent sized back garden with benches, tables and a BBQ for the hot summer evenings. Very helpful and friendly staff...

I have stayed in several hostels in Manly but the Manly Bunkhouse is in my opinion the best of them all. It's a really relaxed place, close to the beach and the staff is very friendly. Perfect for both long and short stays.

My husband and I stayed in a private room with an ensuite. Our room was spacious and spotless. We were pleased to find a kettle and bar fridge for an early morning cuppa. The Bunkhouse is well equipped with a full kitchen dining room and lounge with a large LED TV. We were amazed how quiet the hostel was and...

I shared a 4 bed dorm and luckily had very considerate room mates. The noise from the backyard after 9pm kept some people awake. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and a number of good cafes. Only 2 minutes to convenience store and take away.

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
