My wife and I stayed for one night. We checked in promptly , we asked for top floor, we received that accommodation. The only thing different about our room was the layout of the bed. The bed was facing the outlooking window. But it was not bad, just a different feel than other hotels. Maybe it was just our particular room. There is a Cracker Barrel literally 30 yards from the hotel, so you can walk there in less than 1 minute to eat dinner or breakfast. We would stay here again. Our room was clean, and again, it was quiet!

Came from Orlando FL for my older brother's funeral; stayed the week at the Hampton and everyone was very kind and helpful, especially Lena, James, Lisa and the maintenance man. Made our visit a little nicer to have their kindness during our stay.

Traveling to the hotel is littered with speed cameras and red light cameras. Every where you look there’s a camera and signs about them. Don’t not make you feel like it’s a good neighborhood. The hotel is under construction, one cannot access the hotel through the temporary front door as it’s locked. Staff states they do not know where the key is. Dave sometime as knocking at the door doesn’t get anyone’s attention. I stood in the rain and called the hotel from the parking lot asking for access through the temporary front door. Signs of water leaks and visual signs of water coming out of electrical outlets in the room. No parking available as it’s all taken up by construction. I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

The Sign OutFront Says the Best Hotel in Morristown. That might very well be true. The best part of the hotel is not the rooms(very large), the breakfast(quite good, but typical), staff(very friendly & helpful), but the interior furnishings of the entrance hall and reception area(see the pics). This hotel reminds me of some of the great old ladies of hotels, say, the Read House in Chattanooga, the Savoy in London etc. Very comfortable and very classy.

Nice quiet and very clean hotel. Great complimentary breakfast! No issues, stayed 4 days and will stay again when I’m in town. There are plenty of food options near the hotel from fast food to restaurants.

Tripadvisor, I don't know what you can do to be sure real customers are actually writing these reviews, but there is NO way this hotel is a 5.5 star hotel. I've noticed a trend that makes me question all the ratings on this site. As for this hotel: Be aware this is no where near the interstate. It's at least a 10 min drive to get to it. If you're looking for an easy on off this isn't it. The room was dirty, but it was a dog room which tend to be not so clean. It came with a $50 dog fee for the night. It has good space for walking the dog though the neighborhood seems a little sketchy at night. On a clean scale of 1-10 I'd give this hotel a 4. Beds were old and sagging. Furniture had dirt pots. No freezer in the old fridge so had to take the ice pack to the front desk for freezing. This place reminding me of an old business Marriott or the old Helmsley hotels in NYC where they never actually did updating to the decor but was clean and located in a good spot. Sadly their housekeeping standards are not enough to balance the old tired decor. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was the best I had on this week road trip. There was a giant pan of fresh cooked bacon. If you've traveled recently you know that's a treat. Heard the hampton corporate people were trying to get the hotel to lower the vaulted ceiling which was going to cost a good deal of $. My suggestion to corporate is to get the rooms updated. and clean. The hotel is 60's vintage and unless you do a complete gutting of the property it's still going to feel like a 60's throwback.

Not up to expectations of cleanliness. Only left 1/2 roll of toilet paper for 3 adults 2 nights. Pool area and pool noT very clean. No towels available at the pool unless you wanted the ones piled on a chair that previous pool horses used.

I want to apologize for the issues you had during your stay with us. We don't have a place to store towels by the pool since it is an outdoor pool. We keep them at the front desk. I'm sorry we didn't communicate this to you.

I’m a Hilton Diamond member, and this place is a dump. Worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. I can’t believe Hilton allows this place to be called a Hampton Inn. It looks like it was probably a nice hotel twenty years ago. I should have gone elsewhere as soon as I found out they don’t even have digital keys. Won’t be coming back here.

Urine stains on underside of toilet seat and cob webs hanging from the ceilings. Honestly not sure if the sheets were fresh. Breakfast sausage was cold . They gave us one night free, but still, clean the toilets!

I want to apologize for the state of your room and for not living up to Hampton standards in this instance. I have spoken with the head of housekeeping about this issue and will work with them to ensure this doesn't happen again. Once again I am sorry for the poor experience you had during your stay.

The elevator has been broken for over two weeks and no one told us. The office chair in the room was broken and permanently leaned forward. The chair was yellow in color and stained. The carpet and couch are dated and in need of replacement. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean but the toilet was not working well. We reserved the third floor conference room and had to carry all of our equipment up three flights of steps. No bathrooms were available on the third floor. We had to ask for a room to be opened so we didn’t have to go up and down three flights of stairs to use the restroom. If it had been going on for over two weeks we should have been notified to make alternate arrangements. The breakfast was terrible. This is property doesn’t represent the Hampton brand and it should be removed until it updates the property. Stay at your own risk but you have been warned.

I am sorry about the issues during your stay. Our elevator proved much harder to repair than normal due to parts not being available. It remained a moving target for over two weeks. Thankfully it's fully fixed now. Once again, I am sorry about the inconvenience this has caused you.
