Tucked along a winding country road lined with hedgerows and surrounded by the fields and hills of the Hampshire countryside, the Bourne Valley Inn offers refined and award-winning British cuisine, delicious local ales and elegant, contemporary rooms that ensure you can relax and enjoy. Sink into one of our nine contemporary cottage-style rooms and unwind in your own private corner of the Hampshire countryside. Named after the lakes and rivers that lie nearby, our rooms are designed with your comfort in mind and include luxurious bedding, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, Bramley bath and body products and tea and coffee trays. Our Chef and Landlord Ryan creates his menu with sustainable local produce so you can expect that every plate on the Bourne Valley Inn menu is as fresh as it can be and is expertly crafted with a passion for the local countryside. Our menu includes British classics as well as seasonal dishes and we are proud to have recently received 1 Rosette from the AA. The BVI is perfectly situated for guests to enjoy the rich fishing chalk streams of the River Test, renowned for its trout, as well as the glorious fields and woodlands that stretch in every direction.

Fantastic staff, the Inn was in a wonderful rural setting. The service, food and drink were all excellent. Our room was charming and characterful, but needs soundproofing between rooms, especially bathrooms.

Stayed a night for a family birthday celebration dinner. Food was good and the inn restaurant is a very pleasant character environment with friendly staff and good bar. Surrounding countryside and village lovely. Delicious breakfast. Room is basic but comfortable. Only quibble was there were no toiletries! Overall good value.

A bitterly disappointing dining experience for a traditional Christmas Day lunch. Three very thin slices of white turkey and one brown, no stuffing. Very small portions but a large bill, over 90 pounds a head with two alcoholic drinks each. Times are tough at the moment but overpricing average fare is not the solution.

Although we had a bit of trouble booking - the Inn was excellent. Rooms are a little small but clean - staff are excellent - friendly & professional. Breakfast was great - dinner very good although we would have like a larger menu. Will certainly book again when down that way.

Small room, with heating that you cant turn off, as the valve has broken. The staff entrance is right beside our room (1) and at 7am they start to arrive. The gate slams shut and they talk incessantly. Not restful, not pleasant, not with the ridiculous sum we had to pay to stay. Avoid staying. The food, however is amazing.
