We came to view the region with an overseas visitor. We are familiar with the area ourselves. Gisborne Peak is perfect for us, who love seclusion, but was a little hard on our visitor as she was trying to catch up with more friends after our stay, and mobile phone coverage was difficult. My husband and I would be very...

Our phone and WiFi is somewhat unreliable but always remember our staff are there to help, just ask and we are happy for our guests...

We had a Red Balloon lunch given to us as a gift and decided to stay at the cottages to complete our experience. Great lunch and the service / staff were friendly and attentive. The cottage was peaceful and comfortable. Beautiful breakfast supplied. Thank you to all.

We stayed two nights mid week, very peaceful location, quite a drive to find a restaurant in Gisborne. The cabins are spacious, well appointed and ideal for a couple. Breakfast provisions( milk and juice) not replenished 2nd night. Will will know next time.

Hi pojalan, Thank you for your review and your visit. We are sorry to learn you needed more milk and juice. Generally there is plenty for a 2 night stay however if you had asked we would of been happy to supply more for your needs. Beautiful Staff, Beautiful Location. Cabins immaculate and a sense of generosity all around. We chose a mid-week "retreat" and the venue was just perfect for this. Our only issue was the need to be "technically in touch" with our businesses, but the mobile phone range was not good for that. We had a couple of urgent issues that required us...

Stayed here for one night, great food and wine and lovely people. Cabins had a lovely view, very peaceful sitting on the deck in the evening enjoying the local wine. Pizzas for lunch were one of the best I've had.

We stayed overnight, during a recent weekend away. The day started off fabulously with a wine tasting and food at the associated winery. When we went to our cottage, we couldn't have been happier. Welcoming music, well presented cottage, and a magnificent and serene view across the vinyard.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages (Macedon Ranges) is a place where relaxation, luxury, sustainability and fine wine all come together. Each of the 4 eco-cottages are self-contained and sleep two people. They are nestled into the hillside overlooking the vines and the lake. Perfect for relaxing, reading, talking or just watching the grapes grow! You can always have a tasting of the estate grown wines at the cellar door and even help out in the vineyard with seasonal activities if you want. On Friday through Sundays the wood-fired oven cooks delicious pizzas, prawns and more to match with the Gisborne Peak wine range. One of the advantages of the Gisborne South location is the close proximity to Melbourne and the airport. No need to waste time getting here – spend that time instead settling in and enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of the Macedon Ranges. What you get in the Macedon Ranges is honesty and authentic passion. What you get at Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages is all of that plus comfort, food & wine and relaxation. Why wait?
