I have to say I found the hostel itself quite disappointing. It wasn't bad, but in the previous similar backpacker hostels I've stayed at, amongst National Parks, Blue Mountains, Thredbo etc I've come to expect these usually to be the best hostels to stay in. Especially a place as prestigious, beautiful & popular as The Grampians. The Grampians itself did...

Thanks for your review. We’re sorry that the facilities of the hostel were not as clean as possible for the duration of your stay as cleanliness and providing quality facilities are important to us. Our rooms do have heaters in them, so if you stay with us again, please make sure your heater is on or if there is an...

I was so amazed with this amazing & cheap place! The owner is a genuinely nice person who's looking after you and not just after your money. After getting there quite late with no food, he didn't hesitate to call his wife who was on her way back to bring some food from the supermarket since the one in Halls...

Peaceful and quiet . Can see Milky Way at night . Toilet are clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wasnt able to get some beer to chill that's a pity . Room is average. With hanger, heater, lights and table. Was pretty shocked when they took out a snake and says its from one of the room . But...

The family that run the hostel are lovely and even lit the fires for us in the living room. Had a great atmosphere and two little kitchen spaces. Had views of the Grampians and even had chooks roaming around the backyard which was accessible through the sliding doors on each room. Was quiet and very modern and clean. Recommend it...

I found this hostel to be peaceful and relaxing. It was nice to get away from the loud party hostels you find in Melbourne. I liked the fact it was within walking distance of the supermarket, Venus baths and the Pinnacle. You got lovely views from the outside area of the hostel. I found it frustrating that staff were rarely...

The hostel was located right next to the mountains. It's a perfect place to stay to explore the Grampians. You can even find kangaroos hopping about in the backyard. The place was generally clean and quiet. You can meet all different sorts of people there. If you wish to climb the Pinnacle and do not have a car, the other...

I was here with a friend for 2 nights to see the Grampians National Park. Friendly wife and husband that run the hostel. They live on-site with their kids. Their man friend is a very lovely fellow. It was my first time staying in a hostel and I felt very safe there. I have heard a lot of negative things...

I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights. Facilities are clean and well kept and the staff are very helpful. The location is picturesque and peaceful. I saw several kangaroos and an emu at the back of the hostel and there are chickens in the garden. I would highly recommend this place as a base whilst touring The Grampians.

I stayed here one night while on a small group tour. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. It was hands-down the cleanest Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere very welcoming. Loved the chickens hanging out in the front yard, and the kangaroos across the road gave it a very...

I love this hostel. There're many chickens and a cute and friendly bunny in backyard. I'd been there for 2 nights traveling around Grampian which wasn't enough. The kitchen was nice and facilities were great and clean. The supermarket and shops weren't far. There're a lot of kangkaroos come out in early evening and emus aswell. I'd like to feed chickens...
