My wife and I had Dinner here to celebrate her Birthday. We chose the 6 Course Dinner with matching Wines and were not disappointed. Each course was excellent and well matched with the selected wines. The service was also first class with explanations about each course and the wine. We could not have asked for a better place to Celebrate.... More

We came for Sunday Roast lunch to enjoy the special set menu. Walking into the dining room was a breathtaking moment, the ambiance and styling was just beyond! The family chose the 2 courses and there was plenty of food. The bread served with ricotta & lemon was just divine. The entrees were all delicious and the mains were pork... More

Great atmosphere in a beautiful old pub - it was a pretty cool evening and luckily scored a table right near the open fire! Service from a very young guy was outstanding - his knowledge of the food and drinks menu was impressive. Had charcoal grilled chicken and my wife had flathead tails - both very delicious. A little pricey... More

Pros Large pretty room with good comfortable bed with quality linen. Fluffy towels (but nowhere to hang them if you wanted to use them twice). Basin in room - to compensate for shared bathrooms being only option in main building. Good reading lights. Shared bathrooms were clean and good shower flow. Cons Being on main highway it can get noisy... More

Our stay here was, to be honest, a bit mixed. Firstly, the staff were all delightful. The room was beautifully renovated, bed comfortable and shared bathrooms were not a problem. Lovely hot showers :) Good quality tea, coffee and toiletries provided and the price was very reasonable. However... The noise!! We stayed here on a Sunday night and I'm surprised... More

Large rooms decked out in a mix of fairly modern and handmade country style. Stayed two nights (Friday/Saturday) and honestly expected it to be louder than it was. Located right in the middle of everything and the help of excellent staff made getting around a breeze, even for someone taking public transport.

Out on my motorbike for a winter ride and stopped in at the bistro for coffee and a salmon and egg brioche roll. Nice and warm, friendly staff., Great atmosphere. Highly recommended for brekkie or lunch.

We came here a couple of weeks ago and had meals here twice. The first time we had some fantastic steaks that we really enjoyed, although my daughters pasta was tiny. Unfortunately the service was below average. But we decided to come the following evening as they were advertising a special shared meal that sounded amazing. When we got there... More

Had a really lovely lunch here recently. The atmosphere is very welcoming and service is always very high standard. It's the small things that make a big difference-lovely, simple furnishing, clean tableware, well dressed wait staff. I'd highly recommend this place-not just pub grub, really excellent standard!

Great Room, cosy, comfortable and characteristic. Helpful friendly staff. Very nice food and a fantastic selection of local wines and beers, all for and a great price. Highly recommended. Bring good earplugs as you will be woken up early in morning, midweek, if you get a main road room. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Would stay there again.... More
