I've stayed at plenty of places over the years. This is far from the worst but far from the best. The rooms are outdated and quite dusty in places. The location however is good, quiet and away from the dead centre of town. My major issue is the wifi is horrendous. I spoke to them twice about the issue of weak to no signal and was told that there was nothing they could do... When someone pays for a room they expect to be able to use the amenities. In this day and age I shouldn't be expected to hotspot from my phone just to get work done. This would have been less of an issue if someone made an attempted to actually rectify the issue rather then show me they could connect then tell me they couldn't help. Even when I could connect it was slow and constantly dropping out. Avoid if you need wifi and value your phone data.…
Upon opening the door of the unit, unit the first thing you notice is the bleakness of the unit, then your attention moves to the 1 metre by 15 cm crack at the top of the back wall. Sit down on the most comfortable sofa, and notice the door to the bathroom has a patch unfinished or painted the size of a football.,that wall also has cracks and six holes the size of a 5 cent piece .Enter the bathroom also cracks in the wall, Curtains in main are could do with a wash BEDS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THEY PROVIDE PLATES BOWLS AND CUTLERY BBQ area is uncovered
This motel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room had a couch and table and chairs as well as cutlery, crockery and microwave for DIY meals. The heater and electric blanket were much appreciated too. Comfy bed, hot shower and gorgeous views. What more do you need for a night away? We stayed in a room at the front and the traffic noise was quite consistent but didn't bother us during the night. Also the TV was a tad small, but more so as I'd forgotten my glasses! At the edge of town, but still an easy(ish) walk to all that the town has to offer.
Rooms were clean. Has what you need for a nights stay. Wifi was too slow i didn’t even bother using it. The bed is what ruined my whole stay. Every movement i made would make a loud squeaky noise which in turn kept waking my friend who was sleeping in the other bed next to me.
This Motel is a hidden gem in the outskirts of Leongatha. It is a small motel with only 12 rooms, it is clean and tidy, beds are comfortable.Best to go on Weekend visit as frequented by Tradies on Weekdays. Don't let looks deceive you as it is a quiet and restful place to lay your head. it had a full sized fridge in our room, micro wave, plus the normal tea and coffee facilities. There is a small down side which was the bathroom which had a small barn door between the toilet and the sink. The Manager/Owner is friendly and very obliging, nothing is a bother to him. Does not have a restaurant but you can always pick up breakfast down the road at local cafes or in desperation McDonalds.
Good for the stop to Melbourne. A little bit old, but clean. Comfortable. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are normal equipped. Perhaps better price by direct booking possible. Good ventilator in the night!
I absolutely loved this motel. It was like stepping back into the 1970-80s. I loved the shag pile carpet, the sectioned off bathroom, vanity and toilet. The nice gentleman who took my late night booking and trusted me to pay the reasonable rate in the morning before i left. I would definitely stay here again.
We were welcomed by friendly and helpful owners. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is a nice BBQ area in the shade with grass where the kids could play. We'd be happy to stay again next time we are in Leongatha.
Yes this place is slightly outdated, however it offers all you need for a nights stay, hot water, aircon, internet, iron, tv etc. Great view from outside the rooms. About a 15 min walk to the pub and restaurants. Staff are friendly and great assistance.
We stayed here for one night on our way home from a two week road trip. The beds were terrible. We were worried they were actually going to fall apart. The rest of the room was fine. Nothing flash but it was clean and secure, and for the price it was fine. There is a jug and a toaster and plates and cutlery. To get in to the shower might be a problem for a bigger person as there isn’t much room. Secure parking. The man at reception was very nice. Your able to smoke outside on chairs provided and there is a lovely view from the car park.
