Couldn't fault anything about Centretown Motel. Handy location close to town centre. The room was absolutely spotless - linen and towels too. All amenities you will need. Room and beds very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Got to the hotel to check in only to be told by staff that our booking had been cancelled altogether. This very rude woman explained that she tried to call and email to confirm and we had not responded to either. Upon checking the mobile was the wrong number and the email had gone to my junk box. I understand that we could not be contacted to confirm and that is important but she was very rude about the fact that we now had no where to stay with my brothers wedding being the next day. She did not offer any help with finding another hotel for us to stay and did not apologise for the inconvenience she had caused us. Very upset about her attitude towards us, give this one a miss!!

We were photographing a wedding this day and the groom and groomsmen had stayed here the night before as well as the night of... so as the photographers of the event it’s only natural to photograph the groomsmen getting ready! That’s when the entertainment started. We went to the front desk as the room they were getting ready in was not suitable or attractive for photography to ask what we assumed would be accomodating proprietors of the motel if there was another room we could use which was empty. We barely got a word in when the rude lady at the desk informed us we were interrupting her lunch!!! :-/ I apologised for the interruption and continued to ask her the favour on behalf of the groom but she was annoyed screwed up her nose then said “can’t you go across to the lake”? With that we quickly found out her severe lack of customer service skills and told her to forget about it. The funny thing is that when we told the groom, the bride, the videographers and other members of the wedding party they ALL had their own very negative and unbecoming encounter with the woman that day! She was even heard to have suggested to the other owner that perhaps they should be charging to have photographs taken in their rooms! NO LOVE they’re ugly and it takes a photographers skill to manipulate the surroundings of a room in order for it to be attractive in the first place! However we KNOW our clients and their guests paid good money to stay at several of the hotels in the region and yours will be the ONE everyone has a bad taste in their mouth over!

Rude and grumpy male manager. We wanted to park the car in the shade as it was 45 degrees and he questioned if we were staying there while sitting by the pool! Apart from that the room was comfortable, however we won’t be staying here again, on our frequent visits to Nagambie.

Nice clean motel great location but must have thin walls as we could hear everything from the next room. Doesn’t have breakfast at all can’t even pay extra for it. Lovely people very friendly within walking distances of the town.
