We would love to stay at this location, but the staff are completely inflexible - Melbourne is locked down to CoVid, so they only have regional bookings, they have lots of sites available, but are sticking to their 3 night min booking when our group want to book for only 2 nights. Why give up 2 guaranteed nights of income for a maybe on 3 nights?
We stayed for 3 nights in a Riverside cabin. It's a beautiful location but the cabin was disappointing. Not enough glasses, plates or spoons for the amount of beds in the room and unfortunately when we entered the cabin it gave off a very unclean feeling. Blinds and walls weren't cleaned. For a caravan Park that is quite expensive, we expected better. There is not enough seating out side of the cabin either. Staff weren't overly friendly and it was definitely lacking a welcoming feel.
We recently stayed in a family riverside cabin. The view was stunning directly on the river. Your morning coffee on the sunny deck was the perfect start to the day. We loved the cafe & river cruise options. Staff were helpful. Our only constructive feedback would be the level of cleaning, we felt the floor in the cabin had not been moped & it certainly hadn’t been vacuumed. If it had then an investment in a new vacuum could be needed. The cabin kitchen could also have done with some oven trays or foil & more then 10ml of dishwashing liquid. Small things, but an overall good trip.
What a great cabin located right on the banks of the Goulburn River. Peaceful location, spotlessly clean two bedroom accommodation with kitchen and sitting area and balcony overlooking the river. Mitchelton Winery and Tahbilk both close both with wonderful restaurant options snd wine tasting . Highly recommend the whole Leisure park but must make mention of he very friendly staff. The Mitchelton Winery cruise boat leaves from the park which is another bonus of the location.
Great location, love the region, but given the current climate, this park is filthy. The same rubbish has littered the playground areas for the week we have been here and the bathroom ammenities are Lucky to be cleaned once a day. It would be a good idea if staff focussed more on fixing the above issues rather than worrying about whether paying visitors are wearing their yellow wristbands ( we were approached, from a distance, by a very hostile, older woman, who we assume was an employee, asking us what we were doing... she didn’t look like the covid police, of whom, on arrival, we were told would be checking for wristbands). We still had a great week, with family, but covid or not, cleanliness is lacking and I think if this park is required to enforce new covid parameters, they should really start to focus on implementing more frequent hygiene management practices.…
