We stay here quite often and we love it. The children always make friends but you can also enjoy peace and rest if you want an escape. The breakfast is delicious and all of it is excellent value. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Fluffy towels and quality toiletries provided. Beach, cafes, pool in the back with tennis courts....

We stayed in a family room (17) for 6 nights. The room was in the original guesthouse thus over 100 yrs old. We had our own toilet and shower, queen size bed in the first room and set of single bunks in the second room. Very adequate for our needs. Each room had a window for ventilation, plus fans for...

We stayed in the Captains Room which adequately slept 4. Very comfortable beds and a nice quiet guesthouse despite many people staying at the time. Not 5 star but it doesn't claim to be, great service, will be back.

This accommodation is an original guesthouse built in 1884. Free parking on site, very useful in the January peak holiday season at this popular beach resort. Pleasant wide verandas on the upper floors of the guest house but one needs to be fit enough to handle the narrow, steep Victorian staircase to the upper rooms. Aged in our 80’s we...

A brilliant location and although not quite a sea view it is very close to the Point and the beaches. The accommodation is a bit tired but adequate none the less. The fully equipped guest kitchen is a boon if you do not want to venture out for an evening meal and especially at breakfast time as the continental version...

Stayed in a budget double room in the original guest house. Compact room but bright, airy and very clean. Quite adequate. Bathroom is large but basic and adequate. Breakfast is available in a beautifully set up room with crisp white tablecloths keeping to the tradition of the original grandeur of the building.

If you like the comfort of a guest house just across from magnificent seascapes, this is the place for you. Peter and Sue make for a wonderful stay for all in their delightful establishment. If it were a few thousand miles closer to Europe or the States, we'd be here for a month every year.

Stayed here for the weekend to attend the Blues Train. Lovely place. Rooms clean and reasonable prices. Hosts absolutely lovely. Close walk to shops and the beach is across the road. Great cheap accommodation for a weekend.

We had a great stay. Beds were comfortable, so close to the lighthouse, a fully equipped kitchen for families. The only (small) downside, was that we were on the ground floor and the people above us were noisy first thing in the morning. Brilliant location though, and truly lovely hosts.
