Great room and view was amazing, it was nice and quiet and the spa was lovely. This place for me has a homey feel, the host was very warm and welcoming, everything was laid back and relaxed. It was priced great we paid $135 for the spa room. If you come looking for a fancy modern shiny style room you...

I must be a smart alec. I must have a presumptuous attitude. LOL. I thought I knew the state of Victoria real well. Well....I don't!!!! When will I ever learn?? Oh my goodness. We went to a cute little town called Warburton just below Mount Donna Buang. Only stayed one night but whilst there we realised what a fantastic place...

Found the Warburton Lodge to be very welcoming, clean, warm, great breakfast, location ideal. More than happy with our rooms, beds very comfortable. Thanks Baden for your hospitality. Won these few days on a travel auction. Had always wanted to visit the Yarra Valley. The Warburton Lodge was an ideal base to day trip from. I personally loved the atmosphere...

Thank you for your kind review. We are glad you enjoyed your Warburton experience. June is often seen a a colder time of year to visit the Yarra Valley but I find that each season has its own unique charm. Thanks once again.

A pretty good budget venue just off the main road. Rooms are basic but adequate. WiFi is terrible in the rooms but up at the lounge it is very good. Has a billiard table and other games for guests enjoyment

My favourite Warburton stay. Reasonable prices, old fashioned friendly service, 5 minutes walk from the river, cafes, a great Curry house. It's not modern but has everything we need... and a very obliging host. Thankyou Baden. We'll be coming back.

We have been cycling Lilydale-Warburton for years and the Warburton Lodge has been our place of choice to stay since the start! Clean, old fashioned and homey, the beds are very comfy after a day on the trail. We love the garden for a tranquil afternoon cuppa and the owner is always lovely. Would highly recommend.

I stayed with 4 girlfriends in rooms 8 & 9 as the rooms are adjoining, The beds were really comfortable, modern TVs and kitch style furniture. The place has real character. After we arrived we sat on the verander/porch and enjoyed the surrounds with a glass of wine. We had riden to Warburton from Lilydale so were really exhausted by...

This is a tired old place that hasn't had an overhaul for a long time. It's located in quite a lovely setting, within walking distance to beautiful river tracks. Rooms are very basic but adequate for sleeping unless there are temperature extremes outside. I'd hate to stand in the shower alcove in winter waiting the 7 to 10 minutes it...

Thank you for your review. It is true that we offer budget accommodation and trust that we get the basics right. I agree that in a couple of the rooms the hot water does take some time to arrive although not many of our guests have a stopwatch on hand to monitor its arrival. The reception desk is staffed during normal...

Our group of 5 stayed one night and enjoyed the accommodation. We had ridden the rail trail from Lilydale to Warburton and so we were looking for a good nights rest. Whilst the rooms are old, they are clean with lovely clean bedding and firm mattresses. We had plenty of room to leave our bikes in one room which had...

Although some of the reviews were not good, we still booked Warburton Lodge after talking to Baden who assured us everything would be OK. We were happy with our accomodation. It was clean and comfortable and whenever we needed anything, he attended to it immediately. He really went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. We were able...
