Stayed here June 14-16 after reading reviews and was not disappointed. Clean, spacious suite with 2 queen beds and full size kitchen and living area. Balcony was a bonus. Only downside was the breakfast which had cereal bar, wrapped muffins and waffle makers. The lines of people waiting were too long to use the waffle maker. The hotel did provide us with discount coupons for nearby restaurants. Hotel was a couple of blocks off the main road which was nice, quiet and peaceful view of the creek. We will definitely stay here again.

We were so disappointed with this property. After reading so many amazing reviews we had high expectations for this hotel. They describe this property as newly renovated, following covid precautions, and friendly staff. We found none of that to be accurate. This property is old and ugly and in disrepair. The breakfast was not even individually packaged items. The elevator was slow and felt like it would fall apart at any time. It would have been ok for half the rate we paid but for nearly $200 a night we expected much more. Would not book this place again.

We were welcomed at the door by beautiful landscaping. The grounds were clean and well kept. Check-in was quick and easy, and the employees were friendly. Our room had a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator. Our room was clean, the air was cold, and the beds were comfortable. The shower had great water pressure, and the water got hot. We loved the kiddie pool and lazy river. We didn't take advantage of breakfast. The only con was the SLOW elevators. We would definitely stay again. It was a great value for the price.

We stayed at this hotel with 3 granddaughters after the first 2 properties in the area could not accommodate us. This was our first stay at this hotel. I booked this property based on the reviews on trip advisor. I’m so thankful I did. This property was wonderful for our needs. Our room overlooked the pool area. The room was very spacious (2 queen suite rm 223). I truly enjoyed the fact it was off the main road yet still very close to everything we were doing while there ( 6/9 to 6/11). The property and room was very clean. Staff were wonderful and friendly. I have traveled a lot to Pigeon Forge over the years and I have to say this property has impressed me the most with cleanliness, appearance, and amenities. We did not have any issues except or room keys were difficult on being read by the door lock and it took several attempts to open the door but that was no biggie. Our granddaughters loved all the pool amenities as well. My husband and I observed staff cleaning and checking the pools as well. If you are planning a stay in Pigeon Forge looking for a comfortable place with a great rate and conveniently located in a quiet area but less then 1/2 mile from the action you need to stay here. In upcoming trips we will be looking forward to returning to this property.

My stay was terrible to be honest....... The only reason I am leaving a one star is because well.... I do not have an option to bypass the stars..... Short story, our room had no working AC, the second tech called in wanted to leave us all night with no AC after speaking to us as we were incompetent and useless...I filled out an online survey the hotel sent me after my stay and asked for the manager to reach out to me, he did and on my voicemail and asked for me to call him back and so I did and then he never called me back..... When I reached out to him for the THIRD time via email, this was his response "MAINSTAY SUITES 7:23 PM (2 hours ago) to me Jordan I have tried to contact you a couple times. You voiced your concerns in a review that you scored our hotel a 1/10. I responded to your review with apologies that the AC was having issues cooling. I am happy that my team switched out the unit to another unit. Unfortunately in our business sometimes they break down and sometimes at horrible times. Our goal is to make sure our guest is taken care of. It looks like my team did that. I have apologized what else would you like me to do ?" Let me go ahead and just post my response so you kind of have a little idea of what me, my mother and my son went through.... "*****, Yes, you did email me and then called me and asked me to return your call in which I did. If you did not plan on returning my call to discuss, you should not have advised me to return your call to talk about this situation. Again, I am a Property Manager and am fully aware of things happening unexpectedly and sometimes out of our control; however I would never ever allow my staff members to speak to my residents in the manner that your staff did to make them feel incompetent and to belittle them the way that your staff members did, and why?! Because we were women and didn't know what we were talking about?!.... Not to mention the extreme amount of discomfort we felt as this was almost midnight that we were having to go through this WITH a toddler. I will once again speak out for the first technician who showed up who was on call that weekend I believe because we saw him all over the property and he was so friendly as I truly wish he was the "supervisor" as he attempted to explain to us what was happening and tried to keep us calm in the situation and listened to us as my father has been in HVAC for over 40 years and we knew what was going on. The second technician came in speaking to us like we were pheasants, incompetent, useless, and basically called us and the technician before him stupid, and was going to leave us overnight with NO AC....... 20-30 minutes later the wonderful first technician showed up and advised us that the unit was going to be switched out and that they would be returning momentarily with all materials needed to do so..... 15 minutes later, they both returned and completed the job..... well the younger tech did most of the work while the rude tech yelled at someone on his phone for continuously calling him ON SPEAKER PHONE...... The fact that you think that this was "your goal being accomplished" is very sad and I feel very sorry for you and your team. The ideal situation would have been to transfer your guest to a new room to accommodate them from having to go through this, especially this late at night AND with a toddler, and I know for certain that you were not 100% booked because I looked online so that can't be your excuse. Then to compensate the guest afterwards in some way.... I hope that the first technician sees this review and knows that his service can be used in such a better place and chooses something better for himself, as for the other man he is right where he needs to be...." Bottom line... DON'T STAY HERE!!! They may put on a smiling face when you check in, but if anything goes wrong don't expect to be treated with respect or of high importance.

My advice to ALL: guest is to read our reviews: We are a Ring of Honor, Platinum and Gold award winning hotel. Our goal is to provide excellent service, My maintenance guys at night, neither of them which are a supervisor did replace your unit. I am sorry that you feel bashing the hotel on every social media site is important to you. We are an excellent hotel.
