Close to downtown, Dollywood and bus service. Seems like the place was built in the 70s and in need of updating. Haven't seen shag carpet in a while. WIFI service was 'available' but the management provided a free hour trial which showed that the service was not nearly adequate. Indoor and outdoor pools were nice. There was a lady who...

Great place to stay. We were there for nine days. The only reason I could not give five stars is that we had to waste a day to stay the extra two days. We had a seven day stay and wanted to stay two more days. We had to move out of the original unit and into a different one....

Hello Mr. P~ First of all let me say thank you for selecting Oakmont Resort for your recent vacation. I am a little confused about the comment "not being able to check in until 11 am" for the second reservation. Our set times are : Check out time 11 am and Check in time is guaranteed by 5 pm. As many folks have stated they stayed here with an exchange. My family is no different. We were put in building 6, 2 bed room 635. It has been maintained nicely. Tight quarters in kitchen, no elevator; these were not the issue. The single paned windows are remarkably acoustic and nicely picks up everyone going to work and returning home,...

My only problem was my own fault. I arrived too early on the 18th of December at 8:30 AM. I had not made provisions for this So I had to wait for my room. I stayed at the activity center killing time before my room was ready at 2:30PM. Everyone was really nice especially DOROTHY at the activity center. She...

This condo resort is nice for the time period in which it was built, I'd say mid 80's. We had a nice stay and the units come complete with fireplace TV stands. There isn't a unit with a king bed which is an inconvenience. The queen sized beds seemed like full size to me. However, we did enjoy the basement...

Felt like a cheap, very dated apartment, not a resort. High pressure sales who came right to the room. No. The only positives: close to everything, clean and the reception staff were very nice. All in all, we will stay in other resort for the exact same peice.

Just to clarify a few points listed here. Yes, our resort has 7 buildings with up to 3 stories per building and no elevators. The inventory (units deposited into exchange clubs for use by non-owners) is limited and therefore we do not have enough ground floor inventory verses request for ground floor units. We offer a "first come first serve"...

Everything from the time we got there was magnificent! The 3rd floor unit was ultra clean. We did not find one bit of dust, beds were semi firm, which we enjoyed. Check in and out worked really well! Entire staff our group of hard-working conscientious dedicated people. Would we recommend this place for others most definitely. When it came time...
