I stayed in the hostel, a converted barn loft. It is the cleanest and best maintained hostel I have stayed in. I occupied a semi-private room with easy access to one of two bathrooms, both of which were very clean. There is a well stocked General Store below with grocery, beverage, and snack items popular with most hikers. The freshly...

I stayed here two days and was in heaven. The owners are very accommodating and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as they can. The B&B is located conveniently to the Appalachian trail and offers some of the best hiking in the state. The property is VERY CLEAN and the grounds are stunning with a...

Beautiful property! The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable it was the best sleep I've had in a long time! Everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was out of this world! So much to choose from and all of it was absolutely delicious! I'd stay here again and again!

It was amazing, we stayed in the Jefferson room which was very large with an over sized Jacuzzi. I wasn't disappointed with anything, it was all so wonderful. The next morning after a wonderful nights sleep I loved the shower with the powerful jets which I didn't want to get out of and then I smelled the amazing aroma of...

This is the ideal place to stay when section hiking on the Appalachian Trail like I do. There are shuttles available to and from several trail heads and a hostel if you need to pinch pennies. I actually stayed in my tent but had the Sat. am breakfast. It was amazing to sat the least. Plenty of parking and the...

I was an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker who had the pleasure of staying at Mountain Harbour for three nights in total. I was a tent camper, but also hung out in the hostel barn room and so was familiar with that setup as well. I did not stay in, or see, the actual B&B bedrooms in the main house. What I...

Four of us spent a midweek night at the Mountain Harbour hostel after three nights on the AT through the Roan Highlands. Well located for either NOBO or SOBO hikers. Arrived and were immediately shown our clean and comfortable accommodations. Slept beautifully in the comfortable loft. Good food resupply service for those heading back to the trail, like us. Mary...

My ladies hiking group spent the weekend hiking the area and stayed at Mountain Harbor. This was my third trip staying at this B&B. The owners are wonderful people and Mary makes you feel like family. The breakfasts are amazing! The hiking was beautiful! I highly recommend Mountain Harbor!

I can see why this property has great reviews. We enjoyed the Jefferson room with its comfortable king-size bed and private bath. The jacuzzi tub wasn't working, but we needed showers after our hikes anyway and the shower had good water flow. The furnishings were fairly basic and the smallish TV was a bit too far from the bed. There...

Just after calling to make a reservation, I knew this would be a friendly place. We took a room for 3 (room Isabelle), Our daughter loved sleeping in the alcove and we enjoyed the king zise bed. Chocolate on the pillow, fridge and microwave in the room. Bathroom was shared with 2 other rooms so there was some waiting time...
