We took the "budget" room, which meant we didn't have a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc. However, we had double windows on both sides of the room, a wood floor, and tons of charm. It was quite lovely. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. The staff was amazing as well.

Very nice family owned hotel. We have stayed here many times since the early 90's. The owners continue to improve the property and it is always well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We usually ask for a room in the back as they are quiet and have nice views. We had no problem with the wifi. The staff... More

Very friendly and the room are nice and big. Location is in the smokey mountain. Need a 4x4 if you are going anywhere on the back roads. Twenty miles from Dolly world. Next door the restaurant will give you 10% off you meal if you show your room key.

Great hotel. Quiet and clean. I was looking for a hotel in Townsend and stumbled across the Talley Ho Inn. When I stopped in and spoke with the front desk clerk, she offered to let me inspect the room before I booked it. Needless to say, that is all it took. I normally stay in Pigeon Forge, but I'm really... More

Plus side: comfortable bed. They promised WIFI but it's only at the lobby, not the rooms. No wake up calls. No emergency after hour service. (My business partner's toilet broke.) The wall plugs lacked appropriate covers and locations. Sometimes the room got cleaned or not... Coffee not replenished. You have to move the coffee tray to another location to find... More

This may not be the place for some people who are "chained" to their Internet or those who expect a complimentary breakfast because the Talley Ho Inn does not offer these things but if you are looking for a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay this is the place! We had stayed at a hotel chain the night before... More

We stay at the Talley Ho Inn every time we visit the Gatlinburg area. We like staying in Townsend, because its very pretty and quiet! Also, being that we are a family of five, with three growing boys, it's affordable option for us. We like to save our money up for the attractions and dining. The rooms are very clean.... More
