I stayed here for a week, I left out today. Hardly anyone there, yet they overbooked our room and strangers walked in on us. Today we tried to load our vehicle and they deactivated our key cards early and then Sheila’s reply was “did you put them next to a cell phone?” Uhmm, no, one had never even been out of the folder. Then they overcharged us by 95+ and Sheila’s reply (whose name is on the merged reservations that caused the issue) was, you’ll have to get everything together and email it to us, I can’t do anything about charges even though her name was on the paperwork where the issue arose. She wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise or look at it in black and white so now after an already stressful week, I get to go home and do her job to get my money refunded. I did show her briefly my first reservation charge vs what they charged me, that it was an overcharge and her reply was “oh sorry about that” but she didn’t fix it. The balance, minus the deposit, which I would have gladly paid at reservation time, was supposed to be charged at check-in but my cc company sent me a message saying it had been charged early that morning, prior to my arrival. We had to extend by day, 3 times on 3 separate reservations after the initial reservation ended. It appears that instead of pulling it into the system daily, it seems they cancelled one of them and merged 2 days together to shorten their work, but it didn’t refund the charges they’d already charged my cc and then merged the 2 nights together which then charged me yet again. Great bookkeeping protocol! When I asked for the owners name and contact information, Sheila said she did not have that. I asked for the new manager’s phone number but of which she would not give, only an email. I wanted to wait until the mgr was available and Sheila said I could go out and sit in my truck all day. So obviously the new management is not available. I have been staying here for years when I need to be in the area but I assure you that ended today!

Let's start with waiting 45-50mins after check-in for a clean room. It was NOT clean. Was in building 4- had to put bedding at the door jam because of the chlorine from the pool making my eyes water. Can't call the office. And it is not near my bldg. Tried to call from the room phone - said that option is removed. Tried from my cell, no one answered. The shower curtain doesn't hold water in, so the floor was flooded. Put down a towel to find out how actually filthy the floor was. FILTHY. Thankfully, I brought slides and my own bedding. The sliding door to the balcony you could not see out it was so dirty. This property has so much potential. I understand it's under new management, but you need to close for the winter... deep, clean, and repair things. Hire more staff and reopen. It's not your workers' fault at all. You, as a manager, need to close and have this place cleaned and repaired. The grounds are beautiful, and it's a great location. Take shoes and your own bedding.

Nothing fancy but enough room for our family who isn’t very particular. Tv stand and coffee table very unsteady which was not good for small children but we made it work. View from balcony was very nice! Grounds were very nice. We will visit again.

Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback about your family weekend getaway. It's wonderful to hear that despite the simplicity of the accommodations, there was enough room for your family, and you enjoyed the nice view from the balcony and the overall grounds. We'll take note of your comments about the unsteady TV stand and coffee table for future improvements. Thank you for choosing us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another visit. Sincerely, Hotel Manager

I stayed in room 5108 Nov 22-24. I got bitten over 27 times by bed bugs, the room smelled like a wet dog, there were cobwebs everywhere, the sofa pullout bed mattress was ripped completely open to the box springs, and my key card locked me out of the room at 0945 the day of checkout causing my dog and personals getting locked in room until I could find someone on the grounds as the front office lobby was closed. When I called to complain and asked to submit formal grievance with the owner or manager the front desk clerk was rude, argumentative, used profanity, called me a liar, and hung up on me.

I had a reservation at this hotel and made multiple attempts today to talk with someone about modifying the reservation. The last person I spoke with was rude and offered no assistance except to tell me to refer to the company I booked through. That company referred me back to the hotel. I saw very questionable recent reviews about this place and then to have such a hard time talking with anyone about a modification led me to cancel my reservation. It was shocking to be told to let him finish his sentence before I had even explained fully what I needed. Amazing.

We had a stay booked at your hotel last night—room 5102. We checked in at 3 p.m and went to the room to drop off our stuff. There were 3 wasps in the room that we managed to get out. The beds were made but the room was definitely outdated and not in good condition(dry rot in the bathroom) especially for the price of the nightly stay ($240). We went to our event and came back to go to sleep around 9 p.m. There were crickets in the room. We decided to leave and not spend the night. We left in a bit of a hurry, and my husband had left two small travel pillows on the bed. We tried calling about 4-5 times today and have not heard back. I emailed for help and have had no response. See the attached photo of our bathroom. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it.

In town for a wedding and the location was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The positives end there. Clearly the owners are spending as little money as possible in order to keep the doors open. Our king suite had a couch and a desk and a desk chair that the fake leather was peeling off. No side tables or coffee table to put a cup of coffee on. One standing light with a low wattage bulb. No hangers in the closet area. TVs had no network/local channels. Tiles off the wall. On Saturday night this hotel checked in a college group of at least 50 kids. I like kids, I have 4 of my own, but this group took over the pool area, passing a bottle of vodka around in the hot tub and blasting music and screaming. Our room was outside the pool and we could hear it through our door. After making a call to the desk the music was turned off but the noise and drinking continued. I can’t imagine being a family who booked this hotel with plans to use the pool….. When we returned from dinner the pool was closed and they were outside partying. There are numerous small inviting looking motels along the main road, I suggest finding one of those. This place may be your cheapest option but you get what you pay for and in this case, not much.

We stayed at the Tremont Lodge and Resort while attending my cousin's wedding in Townsend. The lodge is a bit dated and could use some touch ups, but our overall experience was nice. Contrary to other reviews, the room was clean, with only 2 issues noted. The bathroom door would not close all the way, and my Wife did notice some exposed wiring underneath the sink. The highlight of the room was the very very comfortable beds, we slept very well for the 3 nights. When we arrived, an after-wedding party was underway and I was afraid that things would get loud and we would not sleep well, but our end of the facility was nice and quiet through the weekend. Overall, affordable and comfortable, but could use some upgrades.

They cancelled my reservation because I asked them to make sure the room was good because of all the bad reviews I had read. They also cancelled the reservation one day before I was to leave. Horrible owner manager to cancel at the last minute. This hotel deserves to go out of business. The proper way to handle my concern would have been to make sure the room was very good not become a jerk like they did.
