If you are after a place to create unique memories with your family, this is it! Switch off the phone, put on your boots and enjoy a wholesome break in the country. The Texas Hills are scenic and serene and a visit here was a unique experience for our family of 4 - 2 Adults and a 6 and 9...

We visited Dixie over the Labor Day weekend. Food was excellent. Accommodation basic - no thrills. Host was friendly and engaging. Plenty to do and see. The fact that the price per night include two horse rides and three square meals (except Sunday dinner), made this a very affordable and fun experience.

I booked a 4-night stay at Dixie Dude Ranch as it wasn't too far from the Alamo, a "must see" for my husband. It was all we imagined; relaxed and comfortable. There were excellent activities arranged in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed not to mention the scenic horse rides, walks around the local township of Bandera, fishing, reading etc....

We loved everything about this place! We stayed there for 4 days. The place is very serene, picturesque and fun. We rode horses twice per day (it was my first time and it was fantastic), the areas we rode through were gorgeous and our cowboy and cowgirl were very entertaining. Lots of laughs along the way. The food was home...

Meals are generous and taken in a friendly dining room where guest are encouraged to meet and get to know each other. Highly recommended if...

I took my boyfriend on a tour of some of the best parts of Texas as he is originally from Michigan. I wanted to introduce him to the cowboy side of the state and decided that a dude ranch in Bandera was the way to go. I chose Dixie Dude Ranch and was beyond satisfied with my decision! This is...

Three years ago My husband and I wanted to do something different on our summer vacation. We chose Dixie Dude Ranch based on location and affordability. It's folks like you that help bring the magic to the ranch. YOU are part of the experience. Loved the mutton-bustin' trophy. So glad he was able to do it!
