We booked a room at Saltwater to attend the NYE party at the Bamboo Beach Bar. We were told only the kitchenette rooms were available. We paid the $40 deposit plus the additional $46 upon arrival. The room had a kitchenette with not even a cup! So you get a 2 burner cooktop, fridge, microwave and sink in a large...

The name is actually Saltwater Inn (according to the wifi network). For those who have mobility issues (wheelchair bound or can't walk up stairs), this isn't your motel. There are no ramps to get up to the rooms. This motel is on stilts. I was given a single room and it was tiny. There was just enough room for the...

Great little motel. Clean in a great location. The beds are full size but very comfortable. The owner,Lloyd Wells,is nice and very accommodating. Will stay there again whenever needing an overnight stay down at Crystal Beach . A few blocks away from the beach.

No frills, but a nice hotel and staff. I was in town working and stayed at the Saltwater Inn. Lloyd is a good guy and the room was clean and comfortable, although the mattress is a little too soft. Fridge and microwave were useful. Lloyd makes coffee in the office for the guests in the morning. Would stay there again.

The Ritz Carlton it is not, but if you are looking for a clean, safe place to stay this is it! looks like it has recently been remodeled. The owner Lloyd Wells is one of the friendliest guy you will ever meet. I read reviews that said the office is closed but a small place like this does not have...

I showed up unannounced on a Friday afternoon and wanted a room for 2 nights. The Proprietor, Lloyd, put me in 1 room Friday night, then another room Saturday . Both rooms were decent and clean. The place had been remodeled and it's great to finally have somewhere comfortable to stay for a weekend. The accommodations were fine for a...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This hotel claims to be newly remodelled, but the only thing positive about this remodel job was the flat screen television! There is paint pealing off the walls, nails in the walls where pictures used to hang (I guess), cigarette stains on the sink counter and bathtub. Linoleum in entry and bathroom is old,...

Great place with great prices. Not a five star but great for the value. Nice remodel . 3 blocks from the beach. They have a friendly staff and the rooms are clean. They will try and accommodate to your needs. Nice Pinic area with bbq pit outside.

First of all, there is no sign with "Joy Sands Motel" on it. There is a billboard on the property which does say "Paradise Oasis." That would be here. This would have been helpful to know since we arrived well after dark, but was "overlooked" apparently. The room key was to have been left for us in our open room,...

This motel is an average clean place to stay with two comfortable beds in a large room. There is a sink with mirror outside the bathroom which is helpful for families. There are a refrig and microwave (although not all rooms have them). Parking is underneath the rooms. There are a few things missing: elevator (imagine carrying all your stuff...
