This was probably a great hotels in the 20s and 30s, and is apparently a Dallas landmark. However, it's in terrible shape, musty and dank. The lift is scary, vibrates and feels like it could plummet at any moment. The paint is peeling off the walls, and the corridors look like they're out of The Shining. The staff was fairly...

We booked this oetExpedia because it was close to the music venue for a concert. It was also a book now and pay later. I had seen the bad reviews but thought we would be okay. However, most of this place looks like they haven't touched it since the 20s and that would be okay if they would've kept up...

This hotel is undergoing huge renovations I wasn't aware of this when I booked , it's a huge construction zone. . But in all honesty it didn't pose us any hassles . Don't wake us up or wasn't in our way. The location of this hotel is two blocks from JFK museum and one block from Union station . We...

First the disclaimer: I booked this hotel through Expedia. This is an historic hotel (built 1925) that shows its age. The Expedia site claims valet parking for $20 with in/out privileges;and self parking for $15. Only the valet can be charged to the room (without access to the car from 11 to 7). The self park is in a city...

Stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Larry at the front desk was one of the kindest human beings I have had the pleasure of meeting. I stayed on the 10th floor because I wanted a smoking room. My friend and I heard about the apparent haunting on the 10th floor after booking our rooms but...

Hotel Lawrence review The front desk workers especially two females are so arrogant. The first one was on duty when I checked in. She put me on hauled for at least 15 minutes waiting for her petty work such as putting papers in envelopes, sealing those envelopes... That's something I never met before. An alive person in front of you,...

Before arriving to this hotel I had average expectations and didn't let negative reviews get to me when reserving this property. However, when my family and I arrived I thought to myself "are we at Disney's Hollywood Tower Terror?!". The hotel is across the street from the court bldg. and federal bldg., but the neighborhood was quite and felt safe....

Unfortunately, I chose to book this hotel early as I was attending a conference in Dallas and their web-site did not mention the refurbishment. I only came to know about this when I checked in (I was told their web site had been updated two weeks prior and when I looked the refurbishment was posted). I was more than a...

Pet friendly. Front desk personnel were excellent. They are currently under renovation to become a La Quinta Inn. They need to hurry. The carpet is threadbare and dirty everywhere. The room was very small, but that wasn't bad. The water was warm and HOT! Never cold or even cool. The bathroom was clean. I didn't feel like I needed a...

Stayed here because our conference organizers booked it. The staff was friendly and doing the best they can. But this place is worn out. My room had a great view of both Reunion tower and Dealy Plaza. However the ceiling had peeling paint, cracks, water stains and missing plaster. The carpet was so worn it was missing the pattern in...
