Great hotel with some nice features. Very nice restaurant but very pricey, also a nice bar but again it is pricey. The hotel is walking distance to SMU and Highland Park Shopping and restaurants. Reasonable room cost which makes up a little for the pricey restaurant and bar.

There were some issues with our stay at this nice, renovated hotel. When our family stays in a hotel, the bed type is one key for our reservation. So we booked here on the hotel's website for a 2 queen bed room. When checking in, we were informed we had two double beds. When I requested the 2 queens I... More

Dear ScottEP - Thanks so much for staying with us at The Highland Dallas! I am very sorry for the confusion with the bed types in your room. I did do a quick double check on the Curio booking page and the correct bed types are showing now (two double beds). While this may not have been the case when... More

This hotel is a gem in the middle of a business area and next to Love Field. Love the retro style! It was also across the street from a strip center with restaurants and good shopping. I understand they are preparing to remodel. Hope they keep the retro charm.

This place is nothing but chic. This was a points stay weekend away from the house. Rooms were awesome, the staff was very attentive. Did not use the formal restaurant, but breakfast was very tasty. Bar staff had great personality, but in my opinion closed to early for a weekend night. There was an unnamed celebrity that was staying at... More

We were there for a quick weekend get-a-way. I loved the 60's archictecture with the modern touches. Having never been to Dallas (we're from Salt Lake City), I surprised how cold it was there. I never seemed to warm up on our floor or room. I did get plenty warm in Knife. The absolute Best place I've ever eaten. The... More

My wife Shelly and I recently stayed at The Highland. The location for us was ideal. The rooms were nice and the overall hotel was wonderful. One of the highlights of our visit was Kenneth, the Hotel Valet Manager. We were impressed with his friendly and helpful service. Kenneth not only helped us with our car needs but also with... More

This is a very attractive hotel. Glad I was able to try out the new curio collection by Hilton. Listed in Esquire magazine as one of the best new restaurants in 2014, the Knife restaurant is located in the hotel. I always have to have a good steak while I'm travelling. The hotel is also in great location.

The positive points of this hotel were somewhat close to SMU campus. Need a taxis or car to get there. Knife restaurant had unusual entrees. Flavorful. Disadvantages, high traffic area. Lots of college students getting together here.

As a Diamond member of the Hilton chain, I typically stay at the Park Cities during my Dallas trips. I had a meeting at this new hotel, so decided to give it a try.
