The owner, Wayne, and the Chef, Michael, are amazing! They both greeted us with wonderful hospitality and made us feel as if the Daisy Polk Inn was our "home away from home". Wayne gave us the history of the charming house, which is very interesting. Michael prepared a super pancake breakfast for us before we had to be on our...

This is a well above average B&B - a far better choice than a hotel and excellent value. Wayne (owner) is a wonderfully polite, fine conversationalist and attentive and accommodating host. Location is excellent near good restaurants.

My husband and I just stayed here for 3 nights. I can't say enough nice things about the owners and chef. Lots and lots of nice details. It's a very old home chalk full of antiques, so if modern is your style, this isn't for you. We found it lovely and charming. Easy parking and good location.

The room feels like home, small but detailed, my wife loves it here. Its close to many bars and restaurants although chef Micheal cant do enough to help. I loved the full bath, not many hotels have these now, would hope to return

I had actually found this place on the last minute. I had secured another place in South Lamar a month before, yet found out few days before I arrived in Dallas that the area was not safe. Since I had to attend a conference, I was trying to find a location by downtown but not too close, as I hate...

I felt like royalty when I was greeted. Nice chat with the innkeeper, and you know who you are! I had a lovely room with bath, all the amenities I could want, and a chef to serve me breakfast the next morning!! It was so nice to get away for the night--from my spousal unit--and spend it with Daisy!!

If you'd much prefer the feeling of going to stay at grandma's house than the cold, impersonal, you're-on-your-own feeling of a hotel chain, you want the DAISY POLK INN in Dallas, TX. The Inn is over 100 years old and it’s filled with gorgeous antiques. Multiple features made me feel safe, and the personal attention made me feel special. The...

I have stayed here twice now. It's really a very nice place. I have stayed in the guest house and the main house and like them both for different reasons. It's also very authentic with many furnishings and draperies imported from Europe. Everything you see and touch is top quality and you'll also find the usual hotel items such as...

Fantastic place. Owners are great and so was the breakfast. Very close to enjoyable places to visit and eat. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice getaway. Hope to stay there again, when in Dallas.

I love staying at B&Bs because of the personal service and "home-like" atmosphere and The Daisy Polk Inn did not disappoint! The house is beautiful and full of history that is a joy to learn about from the owner, Wayne, and the inn keeper, Patrick. We were greeted by Wayne and Patrick on our first night and they were two...
