Hillside Cabin could have been our most perfect and romantic getaway. HOWEVER, with layer upon layer of dust on fixtures, fabrics and wooden surfaces, I quickly became ill. If you have asthma or an allergy to dust, this is not the place for you. We loved the quaintness, privacy, nostalgia and the hot tub. The atmosphere for couples was almost...

We stayed at Hillside Cabin a few weeks ago. It was a really nice experience, but, while rustic and recognized as such, it was a little too rustic. The decorations need to be dusted or replaced. The cabin was wonderful in concept, but the area around the exterior and the immediate grounds needed tending to. Be prepared to make your...

We stayed at Hillside Cabin in Driftwood over Valentine's Day Weekend 2016. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this property is. The cabin is perfect with a cozy living room nice kitchen and the bed upstairs was awesome. We very much enjoyed the hot tub every night and drinking coffee every morning on the porch, We will most definitely be...

So peaceful and quiet. Hot tub in the summer? Heck yeah! The view the scenery, all beautiful. Right across the road from one of the local wineries with a spectacular view also. Don't forget your GPS...You will definitely need it! Also recommend hiring a service to tour the wineries. The roads are curvy and hilly and narrow.

I'm so glad we rented this old world charming cabin for the 4th of July weekend. It isn't too far from town but you feel completely secluded from the world. We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings-just listening to the sounds of the night. The first day we arrived the A/C unit broke and had to find another...

Stayed in this little cabin last weekend and had a great time. Numerous wineries and things to visit very close by. We loved the private hot tub, and the quietness of the cabin. As soon as we drove in, the drive showed us the owner took good care of the place. We will come back!

my wife and i celebrated recently our one year wedding anniversary. living in austin, we didn't want to get away too far from home. the hillside cabin was perfectly located smack in between wimberley and dripping springs, making a day trip to either town super feasible. for being a cabin built in 1865, i'd say it's aged beautifully. the cabin...

My parents booked this cabin for us for our wedding. We were married at Driftwood Vineyards and this was the perfect location since it was just across the street from the vineyard, and close distance to all the wineries in the area. It was nice to have our own space to relax after all the festivities. We would come back...

My wife and I discovered the hillside cabin in 2005. We have stayed there numerous times. My daughter was married in October 2010 at Driftwood Winery. The wedding was amazing, and my wife and I decided to rent the hillside cabin for my daughter the night before her special day and the night of the wedding for her and our...
