Room had strong pungent smell of cat urine, shower had never ending drip, bed linens torn and dirty, couldn't see out windows because of filth. Hotel staff very unfriendly, Worst hotel we've ever seen

" Staff was very helpful, patient and nice. The rooms were quaint, clean and reasonably priced. The location in the historical Fort Worth stockyards was an excellent choice for us to end our perfect night. A fine vintage hotel. We will be returning. "

Booked a room at the Texas Hotel when I was in town for a show at Billy Bob's. Considering your other options for lodging within walking distance to the bars, Hotel Texas fits the bill. The young man at check in was very polite, the room was clean & nicely decorated. The shower was tight but the pressure & water...

Had a 1 night stay early July and I liked it. I read lots of bad reviews but didn't find any major problems with the Hotel that wouldn't stop me from staying there again. Location, fantastic, central to all stockyard attractions, public bus stop right outside, perfect for not having a car. Hotel was full of ambiance, room and bed...

Location: Great for being close to everything in the historic district. Everything else: WOW DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager gives a terrible first (and lasting) impression. Granted, she got better the more I spoke to her, and did apologise for my experience, but that was after she was very rude. When we arrived, our room was like a furnace...

DO NOT STAY HERE! Mangement is very rude and the TV did not even work. When we reported it the manager/owner came in and was very rude and stated that we would get $15.00 off our bill because of the TV being inoperative. When we checked out she stated No it was working when I left and you had a picture...yes...

Never again will I disregard on-line reviews for a hotel stay. We booked a room a few weeks in advance as most hotels in the Stockyards fill up quickly on weekends. My husband and I attended the Chris Kyle Benefit Memorial and were simply looking for a comfortable place to sleep. We weren't expecting much and weren't picky about a...

The beds were comfortable and the location was great. It is walking distance from the Stockyards and a cheap Uber ride from downtown. But there are some major concerns, mainly fire safety. In the rooms there are window ac units. Mine had a towel underneath on the windowsill to collect water. It was soaking and dripping wet, and there is...

" We stayed here after a girls night at the Stockyards and it was perfect! The atmosphere is quirky and the furnishings are western which was just what we were wanting. The front desk staff were super friendly and very accommodating. It is not a cookie cutter hotel for sure!

My stay was not very good. For starters, they had just made a new key for my room, but said it didn't work. My options were to leave my door unlocked when I left or have the management with a master key open it for me every time. The room smelled. The shower was way tiny. There wasn't even a...
