Excellent hotel. No detail was spared. Great staff. Makes you think you are in the Pacific during the 40s. Great deck to watch the small airplanes takeoff and land at the airport. Minutes from all the activities if Fredericksburg. Nice amenities, clean rooms, activity area and grounds. Would love to attend an event in their Pacific Showroom. Will return.

First the good....the location is fantastic. The hotel is located on a small airport with a fair amount of activity. The hotel has a deck that you can sit on and watch planes which is really fun. The décor is really interesting. I was there over a Saturday night and they had a guy playing a guitar in the O'Club....

The Hanger Hotel was a unique hotel. Decor was cute and followed the theme and WWII era. I bought the rooms were a bit high in price but given it was a small boutique hotel I know they need to charge more to cover costs. Hotel staff was very friendly. Loved the diner next door. Beautiful weekend to spend with...

We have been vacationing/weekending in Fredericksburg for nearly 20 years, and the Hangar Hotel is our favorite place to stay. In Fburg, most lodging is either B&Bs or chain motel/hotels such as Super 8 or Best Western. All of those are similarly priced or more expensive than the Hangar. The Hangar is a couple of miles off of Main Street...

My husband and I loved this whole experience. Dick Esterson built the hotel in the early 2000s. The rooms are comfortable and detailed decorating, from the black and white checker tiled bathroom floor to the old style phone. Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Nice lounge with friendly bar tender. Rooms are very quiet and not at all what you...

Our favorite getaway in Texas. Peaceful, warm, fun, classy and unique. Comfy beds with soft linens. Clean. Delicious continental breakfast...oh, the scones! Live music in the Officers Club by Duncan Holmes.

This location was recommended by a friend or we would not have even thought of this. It is far from town and can be difficult to find. The weather was not great but still heard planes landing and taking off which is a real treat. The Officers Club is grand but not always open so time your stay with their...

The 1940's era aviation themed hotel where the visitors are 21 and up, was a great place to stay during spring break when you want to get away from loud inebriated teens and young adults. We sat last night in the Officers Club for drinks and piano music. I woke up this morning to planes arriving and taking off. What...

Weather was going to be iffy, so I came a day early knowing the Hangar Hotel would be across the tarmac with those lovely rooms just waiting for me. I wish I had more airports like this with such easy access to a place to stay.

A hotel at a regional airport with a historic flavor. I imagine being in the south Pacific at an air base in WWII. Excellent lounge for cocktails and awesome entertainment. Love the diner. No kids a plus.
