Our 3rd time to stay here, and we look forward to more. Love the WWII decor and attention to detail (and their new Tiki bar just outside the Officers Club next to the Diner). We were here for the Labor Day USO Hangar Dance, and Bill Smallwood & The Lonestar Swing Orchestra did not disappoint. The hotel staff were friendly...

Very comfortable hotel on the outskirts of downtown Fredericksburg. Located directly on the small local airport so aircraft enthusiasts will especially enjoy it. There is a nice cafe on the grounds; however, it is not open every day which is a problem if you fly in. They do provide scones, coffee, juice and fruit.in the hotel for breakfast.

The hotel is a pleasant surprise in the hill country. I was impressed with the attention to detail that was used in the decorations throughout the hotel. The rooms are very nice and quiet. The hotel was full and we did not hear any noise in our room. Do not miss having breakfast or lunch in the diner next door....

Apparently the visitor numbers are small on Monday and Tuesday because most of town eateries including this hotels are closed. Disappointing as we ended up at a Pizza Hut for dinner. Even they were astounded to have a customer dine in. Gave us a good chuckle. Hotel was very unique and had it been last half of week we might...

We appreciate you choosing the Hangar Hotel on your trip to Fredericksburg. Yes, Monday and Tuesday are typically less busy. Some visitors enjoy coming during this time, just to escape the hustle and bustle that is typical of Fredericksburg. Our onsite restaurant, the Airport Diner, is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays – but there are plenty of great locally owned,...

My husband and I have been staying here off since the hotel was created. After a few visits on weekend getaways, we brought our kids (this was 10 years ago). They loved it and formed very strong memories of the hotel decor that meshed with their visit to the Nimitz Museum, the diner, and of course, watching the planes. Fast...

First and foremost, thank you for your patronage over the years – as a locally owned family business we certainly appreciate your continued support. We apologize that you were not informed of the adults only policy, this is something we have had in place now for near ten years. The reason for the policy is simply because our hotel is...

The Hanger Hotel is a charming place with a lot of historical undertones - takes you back to a bygone era. Rooms are large and very comfortable - nice king bed and overstuffed leather chairs. In the evening, the downstairs offers the Officer's Club Bar with more comfortable leather chairs and a well-stocked bar to take car of your thirst;...

My wife and I have stayed at the Hangar Hotel a dozen times or so. My father fought in the Pacific during WWII so I’m naturally drawn to the place. We’ve introduced several friends to the Hangar and good times were had by all at the horse races, the 4th of July and a couple of New Years Eves as...

We stayed here for our anniversary. Adorable doesn't begin to cover it. While the hotel itself is worth the stop, the planes taking off and landing outside made it even better. I loved the decor. The room was large and comfortable.

What an experience - awesome view of planes taking off and landing. Classic hotel styling was elegant and exceptionally maintained. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Fredericksburg has many memorable offerings, this being one of them,

We spent one night at the Hanger Hotel last week while stopping in Fredricksburg for the day. I had read about it and knew my husband who has taken some flying lessons would love it. He loved it! I did too! It is right on the edge of the runway where pilots can fly right in to a waiting room!...
