We flew to Fredericksburg and stayed at this hotel based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. Great little airport and fantastic hotel. Unlike any I've experienced. Unique and quite special in my opinion. Loved the O Club. Best Cosmo I've ever tasted, however if you are counting on that bar, then check hours. As an example, lounge not open...

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Hangar Hotel. Being right next to the runway of the small airport was just great fun to watch planes land and take off. Everything about our room and hotel was perfect, very clean, well organized, the 40s atmosphere/décor was followed so elegantly. The bar ("Officer's Club") was a very nice place to relax...

11 friends (men and women) made the trip to Fredericksburg from North Texas. Our stay at the Hangar Hotel was stellar in every way. The rooms were clean, roomy and quiet. Ambiance was so much fun! The hotel staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed the "clubby" atmosphere at the bar and the drinks were delicious. We especially loved sitting...

Not your typical cookie cutter inn. This is not the place for kids, no pool, no game room. This is a place to rest and get some sleep. Nicely appointed, hard wood, wainscot, deep leather club chairs, retro style phones, a big ben alarm clock, and more. We found the staff to be very friendly, out going with fresh cookies....

We were pleasantly surprised by the luxurious rooms wonderfully decorated and supplied. No mini-fridge with freezer in the room, which is why I rated them as I did. Very friendly and helpful lady at the front desk. Located on the outskirts of town on Airport Rd, it works well as a home base to explore day trips of The Hill...

I booked here because it was rated #1 on Trip Advisor for Fredericksburg for our wine tasting trip from Dallas. The hotel is off the beaten path for 'Fredericksburg', but was such a wonderful and unexpected surprisingly nice place to stay. The decor was 1940's fun and like stepping through time. When we arrived, we spent some time on the...

If you like staying at places that do not fit the "Cookie Cuter" mode, you will love the Hanger Hotel. This is especially true if you are a veteran or retired military. From the special army blankets on the king size beds to the Officers Club Bar, the hotel is retro WWII. It is super clean, well appointed, and the...

This is a great place to visit and super great location. So many things to do in the area. We have had the joy of attending exciting special music and dance events. Watching the planes is always a pleasure. The food in the little café was ok...what is fun is just being here and allowing your mind to drift back...

We recently stayed at the Hanger Hotel in Fredricksburg, TX. The only negative for our stay was the comfort, or should I say lack of comfort, of the bed. The bed, to me, was very uncomfortable due to it being so hard. Other than that, the place was awesome. The decor is WWII era and the hotel was kept clean...

Another great weekend stay at the Hanger Hotel. Clean, quiet, accomodating and the best Bar around. The lounge is a great place to spent time listening to live piano an enjoy your favorite drinks. Particularly nice having your room just down the hall. Great value, great service.
