I loved the location right across the street from the beach and next door to Gumbo's Diner and within walking distance to the famous Guido's. Every room has a balcony view, which is what attracted me to stay there. Unfortunately I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and wound up with one king sized bed instead? I was disappointed...

Booked room last week, signed in at 65.00 per night. At checkout, 65.00 per night became 79.00. I asked clerk to see my check in paperwork, and plain as day it says 65.00. Desk clerk "was unable" to fix this error, told me it would be handled by night auditor. A week later I'm still waiting, and about to dispute...

Is it an older hotel? Yes. Is it a bit awkward when you check in and the staff tells you that the cable and wifi work "only when it wants to"? Sure. Are the walls so thin that you can hear every conversation and moan coming from the rooms on both sides of you? Absolutely. But it's an affordable hotel...

I am a fan despite other reviews, I stayed last year and I have booked a room for this month. The hotel is old, built in the early 60's I believe, and yes it does need some TLC and some updates. I guess if you are from the area you know these things before you stay. I knew it was...

We picked it based on location. Walked across the street to beach. All oceanview rooms. Restaurants next door including Brick House. Relatively cheap but get a price at hotels.com or online first. They wouldn't match which I didn't understand. It wasn't much more for a nicer hotel down the street. Room was old and very outdated. Flashback 20 or more...

I stayed a night at this hotel and then booked a second night on the same hotel booking website the next morning. I left my friend without a car at the hotel while I had to take care of some business. The hotel was paid for in full and the staff had my credit card- since I wasn't there, the...

They finally sent someone and his answer to the problem was to turn to heat!!!!!! Told him , didn't want heat ( 89...

Room was clean. Staff was very nice. Pool area was very cute/clean and the ocean is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. This is my second time staying here and I have no complaints. We stayed for Mardi Gras and had a BLAST. Joe's Crab Shack is in walking distance as are a couple of other places to eat. There is ton's...

March 3, 2017 We booked the Commodore on the Beach for the night before our cruise because it seemed (online) to have what we were looking for. We arrived, and right away, red flags presented themselves. In the lobby, there were 3 women working the desk, complaining that they had to work on a Friday. There was one lady checking...
