We planned to drive scenic hiway 207 along the east side of Palo Duro Canyon and needed a place to stay near the intersection of I 40 and Hiway 207. Looking for a motel, I saw the Chalet Inn in a little town named Groom. It's a great little place with a Dairy Queen and convenience store/gas station right beside...

I stayed at this motel in May of 2016, on my way to New Mexico. The location is 45 minutes from Amarillo, TX. I paid about half of the listed prices for rooms on that night in Amarillo. The room was clean, TV reception was good--to-excellent. The bed linens were actually changed unlike some cut-rate motels. There is a Dairy...

On very short notice during the holidays they booked me a room late in the evening and it was very clean nice and quiet for being so close to I-40. Had a convenient store right next door and a Dairy Queen on the other side of the convenient store. They were very friendly. NO free breakfast or anything but for...

I was surprised how clean the place was. Even the sidewalks were clean. We were very impressed. But for the price there should have atleast had a coffee pot in the room or a continental breakfast. I think it was just over $60. We will stay here again if we are in the area!

Didn't check in until midnight and checked out in the early morning so I didn't get a good look at wverything, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet (no road/traffic noise like I've experienced other places) and A/C worked well. I did think it was pricey at $70 a night, but I was too...

On our cross country bicycle ride we stayed at the Chalet Inn in Groom, TX and were very pleased with our stay. Not only was the room extremely clean but you had everything you needed. The owners were welcoming and had no problem with us bringing our bicycle in the room for the night, I highly recommend this hotel for...

Well boys and girls....its not fancy but it may have the cleanest bathroom in Texas! Not a hair or a streak on the tile. Crazy clean. T.V. old and bed hard but clean. Flat pillows but super clean carpet. We were exhausted and just needed to sleep. Comfortable and cheap. Maybe a little scary looking from the outside but only...

Before our travel we called ahead and was quoted a price of $371 for 2 people per room. When we got there the owners wife denied that and tried to overcharge us. She had a bad attitude with us then on. Also she made it clear that they would only be cleaning our room once a week since we had...

This place is a dump. It has old furniture, TV and bedding. I asked for clean blankets and they were so old and were scratchy and "pilled" up due to wear. Luckily I had some blankets in our car of our own that we had to use. The bed smelled like urine. The carpet had a huge stain on it....
