I had a night layover at IAH and this was the best option I could pick to sleep right at the airport with excellent and speedy service and a pleasant night sleep. Rooms are what you will expect of a Marriott, new TV set with...More
Hotel is connected to airport by the tram that goes between terminals. Good if you need to arrive late and leave in morning. Pretty standard Marriott, costs twice as much as cheaper hotels in the area. Would stay again if I have layover for night...More

It was nice not having to leave the airport to stay at very nice hotel. The room was actually large with a L-shaped couch and nice view of the runway. The bathroom was very modern in design. The restaurant was good along with a bar.More

It is a bit pricey, but if you are staying overnight or have a very early flight out of Houston, it is a good place to stay. We had a 5:30 AM flight, so we decided to stay. The hotel seems to be newly renovated....More

You need to call them, but the only way to Galveston is usually by private Transportation or Something like Lyft or Uber. I suggest you check with a Travel company. DIY Group Transportation you might try the government ride share options like: METRO STAR Vanpool & Carpool or erideshare com/carpool for Houston
But the easiest way would probably be Lyft or Uber if its for one person.
The hardest way for a person would be to Use the public Bus to The Galveston Corridor then take the Taxi or Lyft or Uber from webster to League City and the Galveston Bus from League City to Galveston and then use a Taxi to the Port. It costs about $25 each way, but it's hard to time everything and get everything to work right.
I'd recommend checking with a travel agent or using Lyft or Uber and pay about $1.99 per mile so you don't get lost on the way to the Port. If you are taking a ship cruise, ask your travel agent if they can get a shuttle for you and yours. They might use the Metro Van to take you to the Galveston port for a cheap fare.

We used a day rate for the long wait on our return flight, but I think it depends on availability at the time and you can’t book ahead. Best to call in and see reception when you arrive as they were really helpful on both visits when we stayed there.
