We stayed for 2 nights for our 10th Anniversary weekend, and had the best time. The new owners, Lana and Glen Manchester, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and spoiled, including a three-course breakfast each morning (with desert!). They both filled us in on plenty places to visit and eat, and were FULL of history tidbits all...

This East Texas B&B is clean and comfortable, and exudes southern plantation charm. It is conveniently located to downtown Jefferson Austin Street shops (5 minute walk), and run by kind and generous hosts, Lana and Glen Manchester. Guest cottages are privately dotted around the well-kept property and the atmosphere is peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Recently spent a night at the Old Mulberry. The owners/hosts are warm, friendly and serving. We stayed in one of the cottages and enjoyed a quality breakfast that I could not finish and was nicer and better than typical places. They also gave us a bread pudding type dessert that was delicious. We will be back to stay again some...

This property is very nice and the Host and Hostess were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the rooms in an outside cabin. It was very clean, well furnished, and comfortable. It was very difficult for me to get a good night rest due to constant train traffic blowing horns all night long. This made for a...

Very pleasant two night stay. Room and bed quiet, clean, and comfortable, as was the dining room and common areas. Served two excellent breakfasts. New ownership and management as of February 2017 so they are eager to please. Owners live onsite, manage, host, and cook. Very reasonable price. Online booking, check-in and billing was quick and painless. Parking and coming...

We chose to stay in the Norse Woods cottage, which was spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Our hostess, Lana, was delightful. She made certain we were comfortable and taken care of. She shared her personal experiences and, having recently purchased the inn, her plans for the future. Being our first trip to Jefferson, she provided us with places of interest...

Went to Jefferson to visit my sister for her 78 birthday on October 31st, Halloween. Since she was in the process of selling her home we stayed In the Monterry Bay cottage at the Old Mulberry Inn B&B. The good was that the cottage was spacious and a wonderful bed and great bathroom. The bad is that is not handicapped...

We stayed in Norse Woods. Loved the quiet, roomy cottage. The beds are comfy. Loved the old style bathtub and shower. The breakfast was tasty. More food than we could finish. Will definitely stay again.
