It is on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons and situated in a woody glen beside the fast flowing river Tawe. Our spacious en-suite room had lovely low beams, period furniture coupled with a very fresh, modern bathroom not to mention a view of the river! Glen, the host is a real character and so helpful and friendly. He...

Lovely quiet location, very welcoming house, we stayed in non en-suite and it was really good value. 2 such rooms, one with bunks which we were told aBout in advance. The owner couldn't have done more well except remember the toast on the second morning! We had a good time there though the road up to it is very holey...

Well' it was an absolute treat to see such a musical family, Just a shame you were so busy doing your concert, Mair, because I was hoping for a spontaneous outburst of music from the Martins. Ohno, you mentioned the toast. The shame, The utter shame.

We spent a night here as a stop off on our way back through the Brecons. Glenn was an amazing host, offering local information and some quick whit while all the time making us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing and we had a welcome call of 'woodpecker' when the bird feeder by the river was full of activity. We visited...

My partner and I have decided to write this review to encourage other people to use this b'n'b. Usually the same old hackney'd phrases are bandied around review pieces, which is sometimes misleading when you are trying to form an impression of a place. We want to keep our comments short, clear, precise and honest. So quite simply, we state...

Fantastic little B & B. Stayed here with my friend for night out at Ancient Briton. The owner is lovely. Made great breakfast! Spacious rooms with creaky floorboards and quiet surroundings. Very clean and comfortable. The owner even gave us a lift and back to the pub!

We recently stayed for 3 nights and what a beautiful place it is to stay. The local knowledge of Pam and Glenn is second to none allowing us to visit various local attractions with ease. We'd certainly recommend a stay.

We've just spent two weeks at Llundain Fach while working locally. We stayed in the king sized room which is everything you'd want from a Welsh county stone cottage - large, rustic but elegantly charming, very clean and warm. The bed's really comfy and there's a huge ensuite with a rain head shower. Our teenage son stayed for the first...

We thought you liked us a bit, because you came back for more in the second week, but it is just lovely to hear that you really did like staying with us as much as we enjoyed having you... it was a pleasure. And I'll pass the compliments on to the woodpeckers :) All the best wishes, Pam & Glenn

Simply the best welcome in Wales. Clean comfortable, good sized rooms and an awesome breakfast. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Delightful news: awarded Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2013. We offer relaxed accommodation in a unique location, featuring large gardens and woods leading down winding paths to the river's edge, with plentiful riverside wildlife. A slightly bohemian atmosphere and welcoming owners who will do all they can to make your stay a real pleasure. Comfy, cosy, and a cracking breakfast, all ingredients sourced locally where possible - the jams and breads come from our own kitchen; vegan, vegetarian or other dietary requirements catered for with pleasure. Tea and coffee facilities in rooms, ironing equipment and hair dryer on request; on-site parking and free wifi too. A cot is available for small visitors. We live in a beautiful area full of interest, from gentle hill-walking and bird-watching, to fishing, climbing, horse-riding and trekking, off-road adventuring, and (who knew?) scuba-diving in any of the four flooded mine complexes in the area - I think for this latter one you'll need to be in an experienced group. We are convenient for events and attractions at Craig Y Nos Castle and Dan Yr Ogof National Showcaves (not flooded!), visiting Cardiff, Swansea, the Gower Peninsula, Brecon town and Brecon Beacons National Park, Carmarthen and other destinations in the Upper Swansea Valley and South Wales. ... more   less
