Where do I begin? For starters, we pulled up into our campsite and the weeds were out of control. I've camped all over Texas and I have NEVER been in such an unkempt RV park. In addition, the restroom facilities were a joke. Apparently, the septic system struggles so there are hand written notes hanging on the wall stating that...

Nice, quiet, cozy cottage. Loved the owner. We are in our mid/late 30s. Not the loud party type of people but we did enjoy ourselves in Lukenbach & came back to our cottage kinda late. It was nice to come back & just relax the rest of the night w/o a bunch of loud music or people. We will be...

Heres the deal.. This is luchenbach. A special wrinkle in time. They are more likely to be pickin scales than checking their smart phones. The armadillo farm embraces the luchenbach vibe while providing a comfortable camping experience. You may need to back a little more carefully in order to be perfectly level because the spots aren't "wide pull throughs"..this is...

We stayed at the Armadillo Farm this past weekend and had a great experience. It is by no means fancy but had everything we needed. Gay the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Since we had Bob, our 90 lb. dog, with us Gay went over her rules for pets but nothing seemed unreasonable. We will be repeat customers.

We stopped in to make our own judgement call. We heard about the owner.. The owner has mental issues. 1st - The campground looks like a trailer trash compound, Don't believe me, go see for yourself. The reviews that are positive, are from older, very old R.Vers. (visit/eat /sleep & go.....but what surprised us is all this drama from a...

Stayed there since it was so close to Luckenbach. Had Friends come over to see the Cabin (which was made out of a Tool Shed) we were staying and she went Berserk! She was so afraid we were going to have someone else stay with us. (And what, Sleep on the Floor?) she we were NOT Allowed to have Visitors!...

I am 70 and one of the youngest one in the group. This place has character like you would not believe....

after having one beer at Luckenbach (all day), I called it a nite and got a spot at the Armadillo Farm which is 600 feet away. It was a cool evening, a sandwich and coke at my picnic table to enjoy a quiet spot under the stars. the neighbors were friendly and invited my to a birthday party, thanks Jeff....

My husband and I stay every year for 2 weeks with our RV and that since 6 years now. Gay Jenkins is a very sweet and helpful lady who wants to make your stay an excellent experience. We always had our dogs (since 2 years we have two of them) with us and never had any problems with other customers...

“Its hit or miss on how she treats you, I had discussions with the locals after dealing with this woman and i got " oh we should have warned you" .... got more info than i wanted on the lady.... I would say if she ran a campground elsewhere there would still be issues but since she runs on next to a bar.... she really doesnt have the social skills for tourists or ppl that travel alot for pleasure..... we dont expect to get our butts kissed but I dont appreciate the welcome to basic training speech nor the attitude for asking her a question after hours..... this is not a good examble of an RV park.... most that take on these jobs understand its a lifestyle ..... takes more than set hours and rudeness..... if you dont like your life dont take it out on the customers”

“If you bring a dog they MUST stay on a leash all all times outside, if you leave you have to turn a radio/tv on so if they bark will be distorted. She stated it was quite irritating to her other Customers and dogs should stay quiet period!”
