This hostel was the most amazing I have ever stayed at. It was clean, the atmosphere absolutely stunning, and the service impeccable. Both nights we stayed we shut down the bar and became very close with Patrick and Andrew, the two best bartenders I have ever had. The guy at the front desk was also very kind and knowledgeable about...

our private double was down the street from the original hostel which was disappointing but found it nice and quiet but lacked the atmosphere of the hostel. The showers down in los amigos 2 are not hot but pretty much cold. If you want a hot shower you have to go to the main hostel, something we didn't find out...

Los Amigos is a great hostel. You can get there from the bus depot is a short ride and the tuck tuck will take you directly to the door. Everything is there at los amigos. They have a travel agency that can book the tours that you want. I went around Flores trying to find a better deal and I...

I booked only on night in advance. That night was a very spacious, private room with en suite bath. It could have held 4 people but I was alone. Located in a separate building from the hostel. Second night was in the main hostel. I got a smaller dorm room with only 6 beds. It was nice to be in...

For the area the private rooms in this one aren't actually that bad, decent space and relatively clean. Main issue with the room was noise, big windows let in a lot of noise when people went in and out all through the night, we were also there during the January festivities (lots of music and firecrackers) which didn't help but...

Initially we thought the place really friendly. The staff was nice and guests were kind. But in the night and early morning, every noise in the place seamed to be in our room, such as people talking, the staff doing ordinary stuff and even the rats! Yes, we could hear them passing above us mainly because the ceiling of our...

Warning: Do not believe the tour guides that come on your bus and tell you that Los Amigos is full -- the guy even let me call a fake number and talk to his friend who pretended to be a full Los Amigos. The hostel has a 24hour travel agency so you can still go to Tikal at 3am even...

Despite repeated attempts at calling los Amigos to make a reservation, I was unable to connect with them. When we arrived in Flores, the tourist shuttle operator told us they were fully booked--but given how common that scam is in Central America, we ignored their advice and walked to the hostel anyways. As it turns out, they were fully booked....

Stayed at Los Amigos for about 3 or 4 nights. Barely ever left during our stay there! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the menu has a massive variety and everything we had was amazing. The rooms were a little more expensive (private rooms, at least). Understandable, because the private we had booked had 3 beds and air...

We communicated several times with the hostel over email and they confirmed that we were booked in for 2 nights for 4 people. Unfortunately when we arrived in the evening, we were told there were no beds or reservations for us. After they looked through and acknowledged all their emails they simply said they hadn't read our final email and...
