An history of Spain in front of you, diving inside the Spanish kingdom culture. Place of the king of Spain with an interesting travel in the past. Hotel is a perfect place to be if you look for a different place in a different environment, completely out of time. Very good hotel, good food and nice rooms.

A short bus ride from Madrid and certainly worth a trip. Cool mountain air, beautiful palace and surrounding area. Great art and architecture. A trip back in time. Spend the day exploring the area or even a long weekend. This place is really great.

A very nice "old-fashioned" hotel near the old town. Good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and an atmosphere and architecture reminiscent of old and glorious hôtels. All was good, except (temporary) room rénovations that led to dust and noise on my floor.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Hotel is very well placed. It is modern at the same time that it is classic in the commun zones. The only remark I have is the reception service. Even if they are pleasant, I consider that the is a lack of staff. Just one experienced person with a stage student in reception is...

I stayed in Victoria Palace in June 2015 and loved it. I don't tend to go on holiday but I took a short break at El Escorial and loved it. This is a very peaceful small town set in the most amazing countryside - mostly forest. It was stunning. I have to travel often with work and this is the...

Were there as part of an educational group of 30 adults for one week and primarily within the hotel grounds and surrounding area. We therefore made use of their facilities which included excellent places inside and out to break away for quiet conversations. The hotel is close to Monestary and a short walk to town centre.

The hotel is good overall. I was in a party of 30 people from Vaughan Town. . We were sat at a table each time with 3 other people. At mealtimes you had to wait a long time before all 4 people had been served. So your food was cold before you could start

I thought about giving it 5/5, as it really it was very good. Quiet, roomy, bedroom. Good bathroom. Decent view. Clean, professional hotel. Breakfast buffet was a standout (6 different fruit juices -that's my sort of place). It was rather over-run with a conference which didn't help the atmosphere. Minor gripes - remember what it looks like because despite its...

Very friendly staff and very accommodating. We got a large group attending meeting in a local organization. There was one day we had to leave the hotel early at 7:30am to catch the bus for the meeting. The breakfast time for the hotel does not start until 8am, but the management was willing to set up some coffee and pastries...
