Difficult to find but worth it! I wish we could have stayed more than one night! The tasteful decor is beautiful and the views across the valley from the balconied rooms were fantastic. There is an infinity pool, use of the sitting room, tea and coffee in the rooms and a fridge downstairs from which to purchase drinks including bottles...

For peace and tranquility 'Maison Olea' is hard to beat. We spent 8 nights in August and had the most amazing stay. Our host and hostess were very attentive to our every need. Accommodation is superb, we stayed in a family suite. Our delicious breakfast of fresh fruit pots from home grown produce, home made yogurt and jam, best ever!...

This property was a little hard to find but worth the effort. The views from the room balconies and the general terrace are lovely. The rooms themselves (and the whole house) is beautifully decorated, elegant but with personal touches. We only stayed one night (and booked at very short notice), spent a lovely few hours in the pool in the...

We can endorse the positive comments in the other reviews. The atmosphere was efficient and friendly. The hosts are pleasant and helpful. The meals and the wine selections were excellent. The guest houses are modern, imaginatively designed and comfortable. And there is a beautiful view across the valley! There is an interesting market in Le Bugue on Tuesdays.

We loved this B& B on a hill overlooking Le Bugue in the Dordogne. Our hosts Murielle and Francis were wonderful!! Helpful & informative. The food for breakfast included the bounty of their garden! We had a marvellous "table d'hotes" dinner on the terrace one night! Beaucoup wine and lively conversations with the other guests made for a memorable evening!...
