If you're staying only for sleeping, it's fine and cheap.. For long lasting stay I will recommend another place... Let's say, the hotel was clean, but I felt like I'm on Castle, maybe that's the purpose, but innovation wouldn't be bad.

Entering the gardens of the Rey Carlos hotel it feels like travelling back in time, back to the 70's. Very nice spacious pool area with plenty of sun beds, a pool bar and showers. Even a jacuzzi hidden away. One can tell this hotel was opened in 1974 as all furniture got the feeling of genuine Spanish quality of past...

Lovely hotel, if you like to be set back to the 20.th century. Hotel is outdated, even the staff are very nice and helpful. - I warn you - don't by the breakfast or half board - it's a disaster ! After one night, we ended up to go somewhere else for breakfast and dinner.. In Addition, I have to...

We were happy with the hotel last year so this year we came there again. Virtually nothing changed during this time so there is still plenty of room to improve. Old-fashioned keys, for example. It was sometimes difficult to manage a single key between three independent people. Also, the heavy iron chandelier met with our heads more than once in...

Each room is like a little apartment and is quite nice if you like an old royal stile. We had a double room at the 5.th flour. This rooms are better for couples because have double beds and a living when you just want to look tv or drink something. They have also a kitchen, which we haven`t used, but...

We spend a week holiday at Rey Carlos with my boyfriend. When we arrived to the Hotel the receptionist been absolutely inactive. No welcome, no smile. I booked a double bedroom with swimming pool view, I got a twin with Street view. When I asked for a double bedroom they said the hotel have only twin rooms in standard category....

I once again visited Rey Carlos on a half board basis in May 2016 during the Pride Week. Hotel is actually right on the parade route. Once again, the hotel was welcoming and staff polite. The food selection is good and typical of the usual Mediterranean selection. Hot cooked breakfast selection included. Drinks included at breakfast but not with dinner....
