VERY friendly staff and very clean hotel, even with lots of events going on. Beds were very comfortable, shower had great water pressure. Breakfast buffet was great! Conveniently located, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Pros: Slightly above-average breakfast buffet, though not much more selection than cheaper hotels. Strong Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Ample-sized rooms and above average-sized fitness center. Convenient to DART if you're heading downtown. Service overall was friendly and was able to handle a misbilling issue at checkout. Cons: Room furniture and carpeting is quite dated, 1970s/80s era...definitely needs a refresh. Lots... More

Was only able to stay 2 nights & enjoy the lounge for 1 of those nights, but truly wish I could have stayed longer; great lounge & tremendous evening offerings. Since I was traveling w/a Marriott Plat, we were also upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious & comfy, plus it connected to a 2nd bedroom which gave... More

Negatives: -The rooms were super outdated. -There were fingerprints and dried something or other on the window blinds when I went to close them. Gross. -Room and hot water had a really weird smell. -Toilet gargled all hours of the night. I thought it might explode. -Only three elevators and so many rooms. Had to wait a while sometimes. Positives:... More

This appeared to be a lovely four-star hotel. The pool and the gym were immaculate, and the service was good (except for the outrageously priced on-site "restaurant". $4 for a glass of orange juice. Really?) The trouble came at checkout Friday morning. Checkout is noon. As I often do when we travel, I sent my husband down to checkout at... More

Stayed here 3 nights for a conference at the attached conference center. They completed a large renovation in their lobby and bar area this year. It makes for a significant but modern and appealing change. Water features, conversation groupings, tables for either small groups or communal dining and a nice bar area. Large screen TVs make for great sports and... More

I recently stayed for a 2 day conference so I got to enjoy the food, the room and the hot tub. I found them all to be high quality. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was that the meeting rooms were just too cold.

Typical 70s inside out construction. (All rooms overlook an interior courtyard.) rooms were old and in need of an update--my bathtub SERIOUSLY needed a reglazing. The lounge breakfast was not bad, although there was a weird "selfie zone" sign that was just trying too hard. However, on the plus side, the bed linens were surprising soft and new, and the... Bed was comfortable - but the room itself looks like it hadn't been updated in quite a while. The Lobby was amazing - a beautiful space to relax. The pool and hot tub were fantastic too! Of course the Customer Service was top notch as usual at a Renaissance.

Thank James D
