I am a senior citizen of 80+ years. The toilet and sink in your recently remodeled rooms are not user friendly. The toilet is so low I had trouble standing up, and the sink is set so far back it was not easyly accessable, especially with the towel bar in front adding three additional inches to reach the faucets. On the first evening I phoned the desk to ask for a handicap room, thinking this would be better, and was given assurances our luggage would be moved to another room the following day. Next morning as we were leaving at approximately 8 AM, again we were assured our luggage would be moved to a different room. I arrived back at 5 o'clock to learn there had been no room change, and there was a portable toilet seat left in our room. This was unacceptable, and not what we were told would happen. We were offered another room on the first floor, but this room had the same child height toilet, and hard to reach sink. Susan, the Sales Manager, offerered us a room at the Resident's Inn across the parking lot. This room had one bed, and a pullout sofa, that you could use for a second guest, with "the linens in the closet". This was EVEN MORE UNACCEPTABLE!! (In all my years of travel I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to make up my bed, with "linens in the closet".) It is now almost 7PM, I am very tired and very unhappy. I went back to the Courtyard/Stafford, took the room on the first floor with the portable toilet seat and used it help raise me from the very low toilet. I refuse to believe no one has complained about the toilets before now. It is my opinion that the Courtyard Sugarland/Stafford should replace some or all of the toilets to accomodate ALL your guest. And remove the towel bar in front of the sink for better access to the faucets.

Room was on third floor and looked new and clean. Bed was pretty comfortable. HOWEVER, there was weed smell in the room! I'm not sure how the ventilation system works? I've never experienced such horrible smell in a Marriot or its equivalent competitors.

My stay was excellent. Of course there were some bumps along the road like my TV streaming services didn't work the first night but the staff showed empathy, great customer service and a willingness to remedy the situation. I especially want to shout out Maria who was in charge of the cleaning staff who was very pleasant, Camilla at the front desk who went above and beyond and the lady who makes the coffee in the morning (I didn't catch her name). When you have staff that know how to respond and make someone feel better when any issue arises you know you have assets. Especially Camilla who thoughtful enough to inform me of valuable information prior to changing my room like the difference between the noise levels from the rooms facing the highway and not. It helped me keep the kids sleep through the night. These people are total assets. The room sizes were perfect. I had the executive suite. The rooms also were clean and the beds must've been comfortable because I had no trouble sleeping. The Wi-Fi is shaky and goes down sometimes but I can't stress it enough. The staff are so pleasant it wasn't a big sticking point for me.

Terrible experience! I stayed for two nights and specifically requested for the room to be cleaned and new towels and was told that I was on the schedule and it would be done. None of that happened. I complained to the front desk and they promised that I would receive a phone call from the manager… that didn’t happen either. Stop over promising and under delivering.

One night stay. It was good the staff was great the room was awesome and very clean. They were doing some remodeling so there was a pile of word and items in the front which of kind of unappealing and cardboard taped up in the elevators but it did not affect me or my stay at all.

I’m sure that when the renovations are complete (later in 2022) that the rooms will look as sharp as the lobby. We arrived late & the desk staff were unable to help with restaurant or food delivery recommendations. We googled & were able to walk to an In & Out Burger. There is a small canteen & microwave near the front desk. No fridge/microwave in the room. We had a decent sleep despite the highway noise.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Phil and Kamela both made us feel great about this hotel. This hotel is scheduled for a full remodel soon. This will only enhance the quality of stay for future guests. I am Bonvoy Titanium Lifetime Elite and understand what Marriott exactly expectations for customer service. They were great without knowing my status. I think they treat all guests with the same excellent service.

Courtyards by Marriott at one time occupied a lodging niche between mid-scale and upper for business travelers and were a safe bet to book without checking reviews, but that's no longer true. Many of them are showing their age, as is this one. Nothing particularly bad about the place, but nothing stands out either. Beds were very comfy, rooms were fairly quiet, and surprisingly adequate breakfast during these covid restricted times. But lots of other corners are being cut... the wifi is slooow; carpets are stained and worn; TV is very old; never was able to get hot water morning or evening, just barely warm; single soap bar for vanity and shower; no ice machines (on first floor anyway); and inadequate parking, had to park at the adjacent hotel.

We got a great deal through Hotwire and the room was bigger than expected! The wifi works seamlessly and the hotel is clean. Reception is open 24/7 and the service is nice, it’s just that this place is really far from everything. There is no public transport, so if you don’t have a car, you will end up spending quite alot on Ubers to get around. I’d recommend this place if you have some business in the Sugar Land/Stafford area.
