My husband and I went to Dos Brisos early in the week and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The rooms are great, nicely furnished, comfy. Loved the fireplace and breakfast-in-room each morning. By mid-week, a few more folks had arrived but the peace and quiet remained. Tara, restaurant manager, gave us a great wine tasting and handled the...

We came for Sunday brunch to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early and had a great meal. The Bloody Marys are made with property-grown organic tomato juice and Tito's Texas Vodka and are the best I've ever had. The food was creative and tasty. Impeccable service. All of the staff were very courteous, professional and very attentive. Great facilities and...

We prefer this resort in the fall/ winter. 3rd time to visit and it is always incredible food, the service is spectacular and we prefer the casitas. The equestrian facilities is unbelievable! We love the picnic outdoors and when we do a picnic again, I would take the picnic by the creek

Dear Houstonpeanuts, Thank you very much for your review and continuous patronage. The creek is a gorgeous spot for a lovely picnic. Secluded, romantic... stunning! We recently had an engagement proposal there. They arrived riding our horses and we had set a picnic basket, blankets on the grass and a nice bottle of champagne. She said YES! We are very...

My only comment other than FANTASTIC is there should be a sixth star to rate Dos Brisas. If you really want to score points with your significant other this is the place to go. Dining experience was truly a gastronomical experience not soon to be forgotten.

This Relais & Chateau property was absolutely magical and 100% restful. We loved our Cacita room and the golf cart to tour the property. The morning breakfast served in your room was lovely, and the restaurant deserves its reputation. We are already planning to stay again!

We love this place and can't wait to return. Perhaps, it isn't inexpensive but it is worth it! The customer service, setting, quality of the rooms, activities and food are all world-class. This is a place that is worthy as a destination resort and worth flying to Houston for.

Not far from Houston or Austin, Dos Brisas has a variety of activities like horseback riding, skeet shooting, fishing, hiking and wine and cooking classes. Or you can do what we did and sit around the heated plunge pool and drink wine. A great place to relax and decompress after a stressful week.

We had been meaning to check out the inn for a few years now and I'm glad we finally did over New Years. We had a one room Cassita with it's own golf cart (every home gets one) for checking out the property. The grounds are just stunning with plenty of relaxing activities, long walks through gardens and pastures with...
