My wife and I just returned from a three night stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was very attentive and many of them called us by name the first day. Onsite hikes were very enjoyable. We especially enjoyed our cave hike with Kyle because Ulrike Arnold was there creating some of her beautiful art (she referred to Kyle...

It goes without saying that Amangiri is a stunningly-designed property in the most spectacular setting imaginable. Pictures don't do it justice. It's more spectacular in person. We loved every minute of our stay there but like others have said, when you are paying $2,500/night, service glitches should be virtually nonexistent. And they were innumerable. It is mostly in the restaurant...

Overall this is a unique resort with outstanding architecture in a scenic canyon setting. However, there many glitches (service and food related) that are unacceptable. 1. Getting here is difficult. We lost one night because Great Lakes Aviation which flies from Phoenix to Page (nearest airport to the resort) initially was cancelled due to a fuel leak, then rescheduled followed...

If I could give Amangiri 10 stars, I would. There is nothing like it. They went through great trouble building this and it shows. The design imbedded into the natural surroundings is very special. You're in the desert one moment and ultra luxury the next. The food is average but we didn't go there for the food.( I could have...

As you arrived at this property, you would immediately find yourself gasping of the beauty of the natural landscape that surrounded it. You will feel like you just land in Mars in a sci-fi movie. The architecture was quite impressive, too, as it really finds a way to blend in and stand out among the landscape without undermining the natural...

We just enjoyed a wonderful week at Amangiri in Southern Utah. The location and facility are superb, romantic and spiritually uplifting. The staff are genuinely friendly and a delight to interact with. There was just one area where the resort consistently underperformed. The restaurant service and attention to details were substandard, not even remotely what a patron should expect for...

My husband and I stayed at Amangiri for 3 nights as part of a two-week trip across the Western US. It lived up to our expectations and was worth the spend. Yes, it is expensive, but I was comparing it to a property we stayed at in Argentina last year: EOLO in Patagonia, which has a similar layout and feel...

What a great place. The Amangiri's architecture and views highlight the dramatic beauty of the area, it's tucked away in a peaceful location far from town, and the amenities are top drawer. The staff was excellent and the food incredible. Cell service on two carriers (AT&T and VZW) wasn't great, but the Amangiri had excellent Wi-Fi. My suite was amazing...

Amangiri is exceptional. The staff are lovely and have been trained to cosset the customer and make us feel wonderful. The architecture is stark, but also calming and beautiful. The rooms are calming with great beds and the most heavenly bath. The food was healthy, fresh and utterly delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We came away rested ready for...

Amangiri is near almost nothing -- which is the entire point. Cell signals are spotty at best, but there is wifi, if you really want it. You probably won't. I stayed in one of the more basic rooms, which was still absolutely lovely. The bed was comfortable and faced the wall of glass windows and doors, so I could see...
