The property is lovely and remote -- a really nice change from the over-crowded, over-priced hotels in towns like Moab and Springdale. Agree with other reviews that the accommodations are a bit dated but it's extremely clean and the other aspects of the property far outweigh the old-school design. Lots of people traveling with dogs and kids -- lovely lawn...

This is our fourth time staying here and we just love it!! Comfortable spacious accommodations, good service, hot tub, fantastic restaurant on site (Hell's Backbone Grill), great scenery and access to some of our very favorite hiking places in Grand Staircase Escalante and Capitol Reef National Park. No doubt, we will be back and soon we hope.

We only had one night here at Boulder Mountain Lodge. Our room was perfectly positioned to look over the beautiful duck pond. Our room was clean and comfortable and all the staff were very good. I felt Hells backbone grill was completely over rated. It was home style cooking that was adequate. Next time I would stay in Escalante where...

This place is in the middle of nowhere, hours from the nearest city, with only a small gas station and a couple of restaurants nearby. We had no cell service at all. For our big city family, this ultimately meant a perfect getaway. It's very unassuming from the road, and I was initially concerned on our 7 PM arrival (with...

Boulder Mountain Lodge is part of a complex that includes an eleven-acre bird sanctuary, outdoor games and hot tub, and Hell’s Backbone Grill. It’s an amazing place near the Burr Mountain Trail, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef. It’s rustic but elegant, casual but romantic. There’s a scenic lake and outdoor patios, as well as all the amenities. If you’re on...

First the location, set in the heart of beautiful high desert, red rock country where slot canyons, and waterfalls are plentiful and tourist are not. The lodge rooms are huge, with beautiful decks overlooking the grounds, frigs, microwaves, and toaster ovens. Free WIfi, large satellite TV, comfy beds and best of all no shared walls in most lodge rooms. Then there...

Comfortable rooms, Hell's Backbone is fantastic! Really lovely grounds to walk around. Nice location for accessing Grand Staircase-Escalante and Capitol Reef. Cows were mooing for hours and kept me up for a bit of the night would be my only complaint.

This was our second visit, and it was every bit as fine as the first a year ago. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was hot, the breakfast was much more than standard continental, the service was kind and complete with information about neighborhood restaurants, hikes, and scenic drives. And our room was upgraded because we were repeat...

Boulder Mountain Lodge was definitely one of the accommodation highlights on a roadtrip through Zion to Moab. We stayed in one of the larger suites (sleeps four comfortably, could easily handle six), and really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, living room and comfy beds. The associated restaurant was great- hitting the right pitch regarding food quality and ambience without going over...

I took my son to Boulder Mountain Lodge to enjoy the outdoors. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, very comfortable and pleasant. While we spent most of our time outdoors, the time we spent in the rooms were spent playing cards, snacking or watching TV. Beds were comfortable and the furniture and decor matched our needs perfectly. The grounds are...
