Our room is great and so is the outdoor jacuzzi when it's not crowded, also great people at the front desk, but we were really disappointed that 1) their spa is closed, which was part of the reason we booked the place, and 2) the breakfast/ dinner was terrible... breakfast is basically continental but you have to pay for it,...

The front desk was ok, but other than that the lodge was a joke. There is only one place to eat and food is minimal/not great (they call themselves a steakhouse and have only 1 steak). The restaurant closed early 2 of the 3 nights we were there...telling us their staff was tired and expecting a busy day the next...

Wendy from the front desk was extremely helpful, but the rest a BIG disappointment. There is no place in the hotel to eat a decent meal. In the morning they serve their "own" version of Continental Breakfast, that is some disgusting scrambled eggs, disgusting looking blackened baked potatoes, and bacon. You have to pay for this joke of a meal...

This was our second stay at the Grand Lodge. Our room was nice, clean and well maintained and housekeeping did a very nice job every day. Alexis, Wendi, and a very helpful man at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating. On a weekday morning, 'Continental' breakfast was set out with cereals, a waffle maker, muffins and some fresh...

Customer service needs improvement. Front desk staff seems to have a hard time greeting guest as they walk in the door, and same goes for the restaurant staff at Lift. Four employees "lolly gagging" at the counter and couldn't find the time to greet and seat my family of four (pretty sure we were not inconspicuous). Even on our way...

Such a great quality lodge/hotel in the middle of a desolate mountain region. This place is great and especially If you consider where you are. Above average bar, restaurant and outdoor seating areas. I've stayed here solo twice and had an enjoyable time both times.

On arrival, there was no one to help with luggage. The staff were very friendly but the lodge seemed under staffed. Before our day in the snow we went to have a hot breakfast, but were told the lodge only have 3 chefs and if they all work at night then its a cold breakfast. Not good enough for a lodge...

Like it's only restaurant, the hotel seemed to lack staff and those who were there were pushed to the max. I noted front desk folks, madly helping in the restaurant. Staff chatted with me in the halls and elevator and volunteered unsolicited information about how many hours overtime they were working and how tired they were. Other reviews describing these...

This is our second "after New Year" visit to Grand Lodge. This year we booked a king suite connected to a queen double...perfect! Great location. The staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable
