The reviews saying how quiet this hotel is are lies. Road noise, train noise, doors slamming, and people on the floor above sound like a herd of elephants. Staff acting like COVID is over. Housekeeping not wearing masks at all. Front desk staff only half wearing masks. And rooms not cleaned well- plenty of other peoples hair in the bathroom and shower. Poor air circulation in room since they put in a window unit instead of ductwork. This place may be new and the beds comfortable, but if you can’t sleep and they can’t keep it clean in a pandemic…

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Green River before going to Goblin Valley, Canyonlands, Grand Staircase, and Bryce Canyon. We also stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Green River on our way back. Why? Because it's the best & nicest hotel in Green River. Also, it was one of the nicest & cleanest hotels we stayed at in Colorado and Utah. I have a suggestion, though. There is nothing -- and I mean nothing -- next to the hotel. No shopping, no restaurants, no nothing. Don't get me wrong. It's an easy drive down the street to Tamarisk Restaurant, a good meal overlooking the Green River, and equally simple to go to the nice golf course and disc golf course in town. But this really nice Holiday Inn Express could become an oasis in the desert if a nice restaurant -- and maybe a little shopping and/or recreation -- were right next door. Thank you for this wonderful hotel and best of luck in the future.

This seems like a relatively new Holiday Inn. Overall the rooms and public areas were clean. There were signs on the doors that you must wear a mask but very few guests or staff were doing so. If it is not required then take the signs down! The free breakfast was not good. There were two options for cereal with two of three canisters filled with Fruit Loops. I had a cheese omelet and it was cold. The coffee was weak. I had trouble with a light in the bathroom and reported that when I checked out. The clerk argued with me about how you have to have the main switch on in order for the bathroom light to work. I had tried every combo of switches and it would not work. Why argue with the guest--say you are sorry and that you'll have maintenance look at it. And then follow up! Front desk staff were young and didn't appear particularly motivated to be there.

Very clean, convenient, new, very quiet, no road noise. This cannot be beat if you are on a road trip. We would absolutely stay here again. Excellent parking, but not many restaurants in the area -- after 10pm there is nothing to eat.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would have. This place was awesome. They had free laundry (3 washers 3 dryers) facilities for guests. Not only did they have a hot tub, the hot tub was huge, probably 20 x 8 foot in size. Everything is new. Sure, the pool was a bit warm, but my guess is, your kids wont even notice. My wife loved the TVs placed around the pool area and truly enjoyed ‘movie night’ while relaxing in the pool. This is also the first hotel I have stayed in post covid that had a full service hot breakfast. Location is great; an hour drive to Canyonlands NP and 45 minutes back after you enjoy Arches National Park. Granted its further than Moab, but you’ll probably pay 1/2 as much than you would in Moab.
