We needed a place for the night on a recent roadtrip. We weren't looking for anything special and wanted a budget spot so Motel 6 was the choice. Clean and comfortable for the 9 hours we were in the room. You know what to expect with Motel 6
Looking at other people's reviews, I think I would be unsatisfied too if I was paying $170+ for this room. I am assuming those were rates for the holidays or an extra busy period.' We paid roughly $50~ and for that price I was more than satisfied. The rooms were clean, the staff was efficient and friendly. Furthermore, this motel was a great base camp for Arches and Canyonlands National Park. Saved us at least $100 per night compared to living in Moab. It's definitely very basic, but for the right price I wouldn't hesitate to book this motel.
This property like quite a few Motel 6 locations works for the traveler who just needs to find a place close to the road that is mostly clean and safe when they just want a place to take a shower, sleep for the night and be back on the road early the next morning. It is a two story property with stairs, bottom floor you can park outside your door. No refrigerator or microwave in room (noted one in the lobby). Pool is closed. There were additional bars of soap and shampoo/conditioner packets at the check-in desk. I noted a laundry room to do laundry if needed. It had the channels I needed, Wifi was a bit slow with weak security. Check-in was pleasant. Laminate flooring with a small shower stall. Room was on the surface clean but baseboards are in bad need of a wipe down throughout the room. Motel 6 in general would do well to invest in paint and paint rooms as well as to invest in better pillows. It served he purpose after a long hot drive from Grand Junction.…
Me and my family called to book a room on the first floor cause we have pets and it will be hard for us to go upstairs since we have extra stuffs for pets aside from our luggage. We specifically requested that to the person took our booking and he said yes for sure It will be on the first floor, and he even says that it will be more rate but we said ok no problem. So by the time we got to the hotel, we are expecting we will get the room that we asked for,but the lady at the front desk says there are no more room available on the first floor. So, we are like ok, can't do anything, so have to deal with it. Then we got to the room, room is ok, but there is a dirty hand towel in the bathroom. This is our first time here and this will be our last to visit this hotel. Horrible experience ever.…
If I had paid $50 for my room I would not complain, but I paid significantly more than that and this place is not worth that kind of money. The rooms are very small and are in dire need of renovation. I’m fine with a small, beat up room if that’s what I am paying for, but the prices for this hotel are not in line with the quality of the facilities. The desk clerks were all friendly and helpful, and check in/out was smooth and easy, but that does not make up for the rooms.
