I made the mistake of checking in here. Absolutely horrible. This place should not be open. The bed sheets were covered in hair, the "mattress" had the softness of a mat, there were bugs in the bathroom, and they were doing work loudly in the hallway late into the night. I am still in litigation against this establishment to get my money back. I stayed all of ten minutes and they refused my reimbursement. STAY AWAY!!! Far better options for only a couple more dollars on the same street.

DON'T BOOK ONLINE (DON'T GO HERE AT ALL). LOOK AT THE ROOM BEFORE YOU PAY. I like dive motels, but it's just too shabby and gross. All the other bad reviews are completely accurate. HOWEVER, if you're a planning to film a HORROR MOVIE (or if you're a genre connoisseur), this place is EXCELLENT! Definitely check out the upstairs narrow hallway with its double-high ceilings that glitter (really!) with the dried slime trail of some Lovecraftian demigod. The. Ceiling. Glitters. Some of the rooms are boarded up, but not others- why is that? What gruesome scenes lay beyond? I've seen Joy Ride, have you? The two abandoned, decrepit buildings on the lot make you think that at any moment you might hear the Silent Hill siren, and Pyramid Head will emerge from the bricked up old pool (which has now transformed into a portal to hell), with his entourage of Dark Nurses. The host may seem nice at first, but what lies beneath? What lies inside her room, behind the faded floral print curtain? The miniature, multifaith altar on the check-in desk hints at dark ritual...

Room Tip: It would be really awesome to have an all-night horror movie marathon at this motel.

got there had used a card to hold the place, planning on paying cash she had charged my card. costing me 60 in extra fees from bank , blood stains on box springs, sheets dirty, floor so bad carpet holding us up in places, filthy dirty, hair in sink, Tub stained with who knows what. building looked condemend. porch over door missing, plywood over swimming pool most buildings not open stairs falling off, walls falling off., curtains falling from rods. internet did not stay connected either. we had rented two rooms. did not unpack the children where scared and so where we. went up. and complained she said her rooms were clean. and refused to refund the money. other customers where doing the same thing. We had to pay for more rooms down the road. DO NOT STAY HERE

We travel a LOT, and enjoy staying in "budget" motels that are not chains - and represent "Americana." That was our thought when we booked this hotel online. Additionally, since we normally only stay for one night (on our way to somewhere), my partner likes to keep the cost down. After years of traveling this way, this motel is the first time that we were absolutely disgusted, and chose to sleep in our car rather than in the hotel room. First, the property is mostly condemned. There is yellow "Do Not Cross" tape draped everywhere. The pool is covered over. The view out our window was of an abandoned and rusted vehicle; and behind that was the back side of another condemned building. The carpet in the room was so disgusting that we wouldn't take our shoes off. The room smelled of mold. The bathtub (if you want to call it that - it was more like a 6" high drain basin, or a tub made for really small people) didn't drain. We didn't want to bring any of our belongings inside, in case bugs or bacteria got on them. The front desk person tried to make us pay for the room a second time - even though we had confirmation of payment in full. And that was after we were made to wait 15 minutes (after ringing the bell) for anyone to come to the desk. The upside? My partner no longer insists that we book the cheapest place around! SCORE :-)

Room Tip: I wouldn't trust the stairs. If you HAVE to stay here, make sure you get a ground floor room.
