The owner, the building, our room, and the breakfast (including the coffee) were the best ever. Period. We have stayed at many B&Bs, and loved The Purple Sage so much that I would alter my trip route just to stay there again.

A small, but beautifully decorated historic spot to stay in Kanab with an innkeeper so sweet and helpful. And the breakfast!!! A bounty of delicious delights from the lightest and most delicate bisquits I've ever had to homemade jams and homegrown tomatoes and melons to a very tasty quiche with a super salsa - on and on. A really nice...

You will not find a better place to stay in Kanab. We have stayed in Kanab many times but this was the first at Purple Sage. It is the best in all of southern Utah. Kathy does an unbelievable job and her breakfasts cannot be beat. They look great and taste even better. Purple Sage is worth every penny.

Sometimes I wonder why I am always writing five-star reviews of B and Bs. Then I realize it's not because I'm easy to please. In fact, my husband and I are very particular. The fact is, we make our choices largely based on TripAdvisor recommendations. Once again, on our trip to Kanab, Utah, we were guided correctly. The totally renovated...

This was one of our favorite stops on this summers road trip. The lady who owns this establishment was extremely hospitable - even beyond the call of duty!! And the breakfast had to be experience to believed. It was THAT good!! If you have to stay overnight in Kanab, you can't get much better than this!

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend! Kathy an excellent hostess, rooms very clean and comfortable, breakfast tasty and satisfying. Delightful to sit outside in the late afternoon and relaxing enjoying the front room after breakfast. House is on the historic register and has been completely restored. Would stay here again on our way through Kanab.

We really felt special and pampered at the Purple Sage Inn! The breakfast was hand prepared from the fresh omelets to the preserves and relishes, plus fresh fruits and more... Loved our room accommodations and the breakfast so much, we stayed an extra day! Kathy and Tory know how to make you feel welcome!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Kanab this should be your first choice. Our second visit, in August 2012, was better than the first because we were able to eat the wonderful breakfasts on the patio and there were more guests to talk to. On our previous visit the weather had not been warm enough to eat...

We stayed overnight on 2 nights last September and enjoyed our stay; the hosts were very friendly and Kathy prepared a sumptuous breakfast for us and also gave advice on where to eat. The inn is full of character and our room was quaint and charming; we would recommend it without hesitation!
