We based out of this park for 5 days, taking day trips to Zion, Lake Power/ Glenn Canyon Dam, Vermilion Cliffs, North Rim of the Grand Canyon/Jacobs Lake, Bryce Canyon, Pipe Springs, southern Grand Staircase Escalante....and will have to come back for the Pink Sand...More
We booked the last available site late in the afternoon on our way into Kanab. The campground host was helpful in helping us get our connections set up. The facilities were only a short walk from the campsite. No pavement, all gravel. Good free WiFi....More
stayed 2 nights - tent camping. Quite expensive for camping but you get really good WiFi included. You are also right next to food choices and grocery places. If you accept you are close to a main road and will get some noise then you...More
We have been visiting this RV park for over two years now. As usual, we were treated like "family" by the camp hosts. We have a new fifth wheel and have not learned all the nuances yet. 🙄 Doug ( camp host) was an amazing...More
Booked a tent site here and initially planned to stay 4-5 nights. Until we discovered that several RV owners walked their dog on the grass strip that runs along the campsites and that you have to cross to reach the campsite facilities. Before we discovered...More

Thank you for asking! I am so glad to hear you never had this problem before this incident. However, YOUR Nissan and home were not the safety issue in question. I was traveling alone. I will try and summarize why I left. 1. Partying next door to my cabin all night with heavy drinking (cases of beer and I did take pictures) cursing and heavy metal singing in deep loud voices with words that were very frightening. 2. I was afraid to leave my cabin all night because of this, so I could not even use the restroom. At daylight, they finally passed out. I packed up when I felt I could safely leave my cabin, and decided to leave not knowing how long the party animals were staying. I had an appointment to tour the Best Friends animal society at 8AM and when I went to the office to explain what had happened, no one was there yet, so how was I to know at that point they were only staying one night? That's why I left and left you a note with an explanation and a request for a one nights refund. You state that refunds are not your policy, but you also stated to me via a phone conversation later that local partiers are not allowed and yet they were allowed and disrupted my stay, so you broke your own rules by letting a local stay, and I And that is not stretching the facts by any means. You also stated to me that I should have come and found you and you would have told them to leave. Well, I was too terrified to leave my cabin, so wandering around in the middle of the night looking for you was not an option or my duty as a paying guest. How was I to know where your residence was? So you see, that's why I left, and why I still believe I am entitled to a refund.

We stayed at Hitch N Post RV Park with a 35' RV with a pickup truck tow. They had no problem finding a pull through space for us and we had no problem getting in/out. We dropped the tow behind in the driveway and parked it in a side space. You won't have any issues if you want to stay there. Call the park office at 435-644-2142 to let them know when you expect to arrive & they will have a spot ready for you. The hosts rotate. We talked to Billie but it could be someone else right now. We've always had great experiences here. FYI - cash payments get a discount, credit cards have a convenience fee.

"This is an RV Park, so some "hotel" questions do not apply. This place is very clean and well run."
