Nice family establishment on (quiet) Main Street in this small southeast Utah town. Small bathroom, but very comfy bed. Owners friendly and very helpful. Including tax, it was only about $60, so an excellent value if you don't mind the somewhat cramped dimensions of a '50s motel.

The Monticello Inn is literally the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. We only chose it because there were no rooms left in the Moab, Monticello, Blanding area due to Jeep Safari week in southern Utah. The only place with rooms available was the Monticello Inn, and we quickly learned why. The rooms were filthy, and one of...

We stayed here because of TripAdvisor reviews. I was greeted in a friendly manner when I called on the phone and when we checked in. However, we wanted a double with one bed and there were none left. We were given a room with two queen beds that were stuffed into the room. We had to call to get the...

A few reasons why you shouldn't choose to stay here. - the rooms are cold, I'm talking freezing. The heater doesn't work properly and when I asked at reception to help with another heater they had none to offer and the didn't even offer another blanket. We were the only people staying at the hotel this night. - the room...

This is an older motel with older decor. The rooms were very clean. Rooms had a high wall heat/cool source that had a loud fan that was constantly going on & off. This made sleeping difficult. The heat stayed near the top of the room and the floors stayed cool. Bathroom was small & quite cool, but very clean. Rates...

We really enjoyed our stay. The front desk gave us an upgraded room, which we really appreciated. Again, without our asking, the front desk offered some good restaurants, which showed they care about their guests. We went to the Horse Head Grill (great food and they even had a veggie burger which we appreciated!). Terrific place to stay. Thank you.

Cold room, even with a new heater. Wasted space in the room, just an uncomfortable feeling. I would not recommend the motel to anyone. It seems to me that if I were in the motel business and knew certain guests were arriving, I would prepare my best and offer a comfortable experience. At least heat the room on a snowy,...

I was returning from a backpacking trip in SW Utah. The rain cut me a little short so I needed a quick, affordable place to shower and sleep. The Monticello Inn was perfect for this. The check-in was simple; the receptionist was polite and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. On the negative side, the shower was hot but...

The Monticello Inn is a classic, 1950s era motel, with the rooms on three sides of the property, surrounding the parking lot. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the original tiled bathroom and bath/shower combo. When we checked in, the proprietor was in the midst of baking Halloween cookies with his young daughter. This gave us a good...
